Engineer arrived at time advised the previous day. Engineer introduced himself and carried out the work required in an efficient manner. Delighted with service received, would recommend and certainly use again.

I had Solar Services Scotland install a 4.8kw PV array and 10kwh of battery storage. Great service and great attention to detail by the lads installing and making sure the trunking is neatly fitted. Hopefully mitigated the worst of the energy bills for the next 10-20 years+ now.

This company employs “engineers’ who cannot diagnose faults. Our meter reading has been stuck prior to 20th Nov last year (apparently due to a faulty inverter). We only discovered this when giving our service provider our feed-in meter reading, and they told us it hadn’t changed since the aforementioned date. Solar Services did our annual maintenance check on 21st January this year and failed to notice this major fault, resulting in a loss of perhaps several hundred pounds of feed-in revenue since. Today another engineer from their company came and confirmed the fault and agreed that the previous engineer had missed it. On calling the MD of the company, we got nowhere, with him claiming it must have been an “intermittent fault”. If that was the case...how come the meter did not move at all from the previous November? He became argumentative to the point where I had to hang up. He called back to start arguing again. I hung up again. Two words for this company - Barge....pole!

I booked an annual service of my solar panels but admittedly was not too clued up on the process. Lukasz was very helpful explaining how the system works, what my expected output would be and some useful advice on maintenance. Service was quick and effective. Would highly recommend using Solar Services Scotland again.

After much research and planning I decided to go with Jim and his team. They installed my solar array and battery storage in a timely manner and with the minimum of fuss. Great work and very competitively priced. I cannot recommend these guys enough. A very professional job and personal service. I must also say that the service continued post installation with advice on setting up my export tariff and adding additional battery storage. Keep up the good work!

Got Solar panels and Battery storage from Jim after getting about 6 different Quotes. Solar panel services gave best Quotes and would not hesitate to recommend them .Thanks to Jim and all the guys great job well satisfied.

Made arrangement for inspect and repair.took day off work as confirmation given previous day engineer would call am the next day sat until 2.30pm no sign of engineer phoned office given some excuse about previous job and told I would have to reschedule. They had made no attempt to tell me this. Wouldn't recommend this company.when I complained to office the phone was slammed down use at your peril.
