House of Dandelions

I had such a wonderful time at Rachel's wreath making session. It was relaxed, therapeutic and an absolute joy to take part in. Rachel has such a gorgeous aesthetic and my wreath looks lovely on my door. I can't wait for next year.

I reached out to Rachel for our wedding bouquets and button holes after seeing her amazing work online. Using British grown, sustainable, and seasonal flowers is important to me and it was clear from our telephone consultation that Rachel shared this passion. It was so lovely to talk to her about ideas for the florals as she had so many amazing suggestions and really knows her flowers.I had no doubt that houseofdandelion florals were going to be amazing, but they really were better than I could have hoped for. My husband loves growing vegetables and herbs and so Rachel used mint and rosemary. We have lots of aquilegia in our garden and it is my husbands favourite flower, Rachel hadn’t used this in arrangements before so did some experiments - they paid off as the aquilegia in the bouquets looked phenomenal. I love scent, and the bouquet had plenty with lilac, sweet pea, and peony amongst other blooms.The work she did was beautiful, thoughtful, she used Solomon’s seal from her own garden. Every stem was of the absolute best quality.It was a pleasure chatting to Rachel and having her work as part of our day. Thank-you again x

As a newly qualified florist, I contacted Rachel in March for a 1-2-1 tuition so to have more skills in wedding flowers and discover more foam-free arrangement.Did the session back in April and it was fantastic !! Rachel is a very passionate florist who takes time to explain, help and to give a lot of precious tips. Would 100% recommend whether you’re a beginner or more experience, Rachel is the person to go to!

My bridesmaids surprised me with a flower crown workshop from Rachel during my hen do in York. We had so much fun and Rachel was a brilliant instructor, helping us create some really beautiful dried flower crowns. Great mix of fun, relaxing and creative and a lovely hen do activity.

I had my bridal bouquet from Rachel and it was even more perfect than what I had created in my head. When I initially spoke to Rachel i was very clear in some of the flowers i wanted, the colours and the style. Rachel listened to everything i said and created my dream bouquet and buttonhole for my husband. When i met Rachel to collect my bouquet she was so lovely, kind and excited for me which made the experience even more special. She is AMAZING!

I have just been on a 1-2-1 floristry workshop with Rachel and it was absolutely brilliant. I learnt about buying/sourcing flowers, how to condition flowers and, with Rachel's great guidance, created 3 key designs: a hand-tied bouquet, buttonholes and a foam-free table arrangement.As well as this, Rachel shared so much information and advice with me about starting a career in floristry, and I have gained so much confidence, encouragement and knowledge from this 1-2-1 workshop.If you are looking to develop your floristry skills and knowledge and have a lovely time creating some beautiful designs, I couldn't recommend Rachel highly enough.

Rachel did a wonderful flower crown workshop for my sister’s hen do in York. It was the perfect balance of fun and relaxation and the flower crowns were beautiful. I would definitely recommend.

I hosted a brilliant evening making Spring living wreaths with Rachel from House of Dandelions. Absolutely love the end result and choice of flowers - such a relaxing way to spend an evening! Thanks Rachel!
