Baytree Garden Centre

Baytree garden centre has unveiled it’s Christmas decorations now. Lovely sparkling lights section which I’ve pictured here. Also nipped into Strange New Worlds and the Pottery barn . Really lovely visit

I visited Baytree for the first time in years today. It's dog friendly so it was lovely to be able to take my fluffy beast around. Staff were friendly and helpful and there's a huge range of pets and plants available. My partner bought several fish and two praying mantis - who knew they were a pet?! I picked up some succulents. A lovely afternoon out, and I'll be bringing my kid back to use the play area.

We went on a trip to Baytree Garden centre yesterday and loved it. We found all the staff here to be really friendly and helpful.We enjoyed a meal in the restaurant, my choice, a lovely large jacket potato , with a good choice of fillings, my friend chose the quiche .Lots of different places to look around.My friend purchased a coat & jumper from Bonmarche , very good prices.Would love to visit again in the summer and look around the antique section and of cause the plants.Our time was limited as we were on a coach trip. Well worth a visit.

What a wonderful place to visit, the restaurant offers delicious reasonably priced food and the staff are lovely. I found many a bargain in Uptown Vinyl Records and even got to make friends with Alfie, the beautiful macaw in the pet section. We arrived too late to see the owls, so we went back on Thursday. I am so glad that we did. Not only did we get to see the beautiful in a special indoor arena, but the fantastic witch shop was open that day, too. Again, we had a great meal in the restaurant. My friend also came away with a gorgeous new baby bunny, and you can see that the animals are well cared for. Their welfare is of the utmost importance. All in all, a great couple of days visit.

Went to see their Christmas displays but was very disappointed. The atmosphere was very unwelcoming with signs telling you not to touch the displays, that all breakages must be paid for and to respect the displays. There was no Christmas music and very little ambience. The range was great if you wanted baubles but not much else. Spent less time in the store than it took us to get there

Lots to see, Owl & Wildlife Ctr, play area for children, restaurant, home grown plants, Baytree antique ctr, record & comic store. All very good prices, loads of parking, friendly staff.Antique ctr has lots of old dolly tubs, butler sinks, rusty wheels etc which are brilliant for the garden.

Great place, been coming for years with my family. Lots to see and plenty of stock to tempt you. Animals in the pet shop look well looked after. The music store is unique and full of stock, a music lovers dream! Why the 3 stars you ask? Well, the restaurant. The expensive meals for a start. For example, £11 will get you a burger and a few chips. (And I really mean a few chips) The burger is absolutely swimming in grease. This wasn't a one off as one of my daughters had one too! So much grease that the bun was like eating a wet sponge. The last time we visited was on 24.10.23 and the girl on the till was the most miserable person I've ever seen serve there. Not even a thank you. There are plenty of school leavers I know who'd jump at the chance of working there and would be grateful, all with good manners and a welcoming smile.

Extensive business with lots of plants gifts and food hall. Christmas department was impressive. Well worth a visit.

Had a great day with my Grandaughters visiting Santa.Brilliant to see the same guyIn the grotto who was there 30 years ago when I took my kids.Lots of memories today.Back in the spring for some plants and stuff

Not been in here for a long time. All I can say is that it is a big improvement. Good selection of cooked meals and the normal tea and coffees in the cafe. Lovely cakes too. Staff were helpful and friendly. Will definitely come here again. Bought all my spring bulbs here - good selection and good quality. I enjoyed looking around the Christmas shop - will go back
