B&Q Newark

It's a nice store. But very small compared to others I have visited. Staff less than helpful. Good parking facilities

It is a small B&Q that offers a high range of products , from paint to construction material to tools to garden and many more , a good quality/price rate. Well done for coming to Newark. I like the fact that they have self checkout till and this make the process easier for the customers, keep the flow running well., once again well done!

Just been to B and Q to buy paint for our new home, Charlie at the mixing desk was wonderful! She helped us alot and was lovely to chat too!

Finally we have B&Q in town, small but functional.Yesterday was our first time buying furniture from them, specifically a wardrobe. The seller was great, thanks for your patience Beth.

Helpful friendly staff, got what I wanted quickly. Had to return an item and get a replacement was very easy to do and would definitely visit and buy from again. Easy parking and very close to a Cost, Greggs and M&S food store. Only reason for 4 stars is that's it not a superstore so doesn't have everything.

Colette and Jordan in the kitchen planning department could not have been more helpful when planning our kitchen. They both went above and beyond to make sure our kitchen was just right. Colette was really patient when we changed things in our design (several times), and had great suggestions. She was always really friendly and approachable, with exceptional, personal, customer service - she chased orders up to make sure deliveries were on time and made sure we got everything at the best price. She still greets us with a warm welcome whenever we visit the store a couple of months on. We are so glad we bought our kitchen here rather than one of the bigger branches, as we would not have got that service anywhere else. We would rate the Newark store 100% for customer service. This is a small B&Q compared to most, however it is the only DIY shop of a decent size that is open to the public on a Sunday for miles around so it is very useful to the people of Newark.It has everything you would expect from a B&Q shop, including a large selection of paints and decorating bits. It also has everything you might need from a DIY shop.For a B&Q, the car park is quite small, so if it is busy, you might struggle to park a car towing a trailer, but you should be alright finding parking for your van.

A great, smaller and more local take on the typical B&Q. Great parking (with electric charging spaces). Good availability on day to day tools and items (good selection of power tools and hand tools, nuts and bolts and screws).Has the majority of what a larger store has.

This is a smaller B&Q but still seams to have a great range. I went in the other day for some chemicals for the swimming pool which was not available in Nottingham. They had everything in stock and the member of staff knew everything and had even had her own pool. Very helpful!
