Wow receptionists are really rude and talk over you. Never had an issue with the vets but now seems to be all about money. Leaving my dog without medication, unwilling to help and will have to wait days for an appointment I can attend. Definitely doesn’t seem to be about animal welfare anymore unfortunately and more about money

The vets are always very friendly, reassuring, and thorough. Although my dog is nervous of going to the vets, they work really hard at making sure it is a positive experience for him and he usually leaves wagging his tail!

Always used Birch Vets for each dog we have had. They are always helpful and you can tell the vets really care about your pets. 5* service everytime you visit :)

It was my first visit with missy. What an amazing experience. The lady vet explained everything. She treated missy with such care. Wonderful vetinary surgery.

My two pugs, as always, were treated with such care and patience on their visit for vaccinations and claw cutting. They actually love “going to the vets”! We never feel rushed and all the vets here are so kind and have a lovely manner. The reception area is spotlessly clean and spacious, and caters for different pet needs (separated areas) and all nurses and reception staff are very friendly and always greet you as you come in or as they walk past.

Very welcoming, knowledgeable and friendly. Treated us and our puppy Odin on his first visit so well.

I have again been today for blood test was told unable to get enough blood last time … the vet I seen after the failed blood tests yet again needs to work very hard on attitude towards clients … I have paid a lot of money over 2 visits £51. For initial consultation £181. For blood test .. today was told blood test would be refunded and a charge for an injection for arthritis .. no idea how much the injection was no idea what was refunded for blood test as supposedly some blood test done .. when I asked what blood test had been achieved the only one mentioned was anemia.. was charged a further £23 today plus £181 for blood test £204. No idea what part of that was for injection and what part was for apparent blood tests . Not impressed at all with service provided at Oxton .. unfortunately no idea of the name of the vet as never intoduces herself and I find it appalling that no itemised bill is offered … normally would go to Moreton but unfortunately it was an emergency .. if I could give no stars I would

I am so sorry that it has taken me so long to thank you all for your kindness to Hattie, our beautiful little cat. She was so poorly and to be with her when she went to sleep, was just as it should be. She was snuggled up and stroked to the very end. Everyone was so kind. Especially Claire, my husband was so shocked and sad and Claire made things so much more bearable. Thank you all for your care and support at the saddest of times. Karen Mountford.

Vet Hannah was the warmest, kindest and most caring vet l have been to in 65+ years of cat keeping.

Never again.Took my dog last Tuesday for a check of her ears. Told she had a yeast infection and charged £110 broken down into a consultant fee of £48 for 5 minutes, ear drops available online for £15 and charged nearly £40 and 10 tablets which cost 8p each online for £17.Told to come back in a week for a check up and charged another £40 for another 5 minutes for them to say she's okay now!!!!So ive paid £150.I had enquired about dental treatment and was told £680 as my dog needs a blood test 1st so £70 included in the price for that.Not for profit vets charge £369 total cost for all work and the blood test on top....miles cheaper.Think with some recent reviews there business plan will mean they aren't open for long.This isn't my first rip off experience. They wanted to do scans in Jan 22 costing £700. Went to the not for profit, told to change my dogs food and shes been perfectly fine for 18months, so i saved £700 and paid zero consultation.Lesson learnt now and we won't be back for more.The vet also fat shamed my dog in the waiting room full of people, this should have been done privately in the £40 5 minute consultation.
