Clarke's Dry Cleaners

Called recently for a passport photo.Was met by a very helpful gentleman. Took dry cleaning on my second visit, i was amazed how fresh my drycleaning came back. Will call again.

Are you joking I have called many times and will continue to call till I get the owners I have got my jacket back after many many weeks of waiting and it is a complete disgrace. Twice as bad as when it went in the only difference is I paid £50 for this monstrosity. Well my mother did I will be in touch this is beyond unacceptable.

I've been using Clarkes for quite a while now after switching from another dry cleaners that let me down. Always get a nice welcome when I go in and their service has been great.

We can't say enough about how good we felt at this place. We are not from the area, and we arrived with an emergency dressing salad covering a visible spot of a jacket and needed to have a quick fix for a conference happening the same day. The lady in charge of the place was extremely helpful and gave us some suggestions. We left the jacket and came back 3 hours later. The spot on the jacket was cleaned up. We asked how much to pay, and the lady didn't want to be paid because this was a quick clean not a dry clean, she refused to be paid even though we insisted... amazing.Truly, we have not seen such a nice place that cared so much for our situation. Thank you Clarke’s Dry Cleaners, you saved our day.

I had some passport photographs taken here that turned out to be rejected because they were blurry. I didn't look twice at them at the time, assuming the owner knew what he was doing... after bringing them back he argued they were fine. There is no interpretation involved here - they were obviously not sharp, you just have to look at them.When I asked for a refund instead of more photos he started with an aggressive tone and was very uncooperative. The owner was very sarcastic and refused to acknowledge the sub-standard product. To top it off, after I refused to leave without a refund he dropped the coins into my hands from about 6 inches away, couldn't believe how rude he was. I left feeling very angry - as a previous reviewer stated there are less stressful places to go for basic services. My interaction with this man left a very bad taste.

Attempted to register a complaint about puncture holes in clothes caused by plastic tags being inserted into the fabric of clothes themselves. Was immediately faced with an aggressive and uncooperative owner who reacted disproportionately to the complaint with sarcasm and outright anger.Would not recommend to anyone. There's less stressful places to have your clothes washed. The disregard for our concerns left a very bad taste.In summary- Poor quality wash with damage to suits- Terrible customer service

I needed some passport photos taken. The owner was very helpful and polite. The quality of the photos were up to the standard required by the passport office. Would recommend Clarkes for great service.
