Happy Valley Park
Beautiful park in Woodingdean. Head up out the park and up the hill to Ovingdean for more 'rural' scenery. Child's party area and recycling bins in same vicinity. Watch out for the dog poo if you're walking around the park. And take your poo bags home with you.

My kids lived this park. We visited on our way back home after going to Saltdean. The equipment was swell maintained and there's a good variety there for a wide range of children (I visited with my 3 and 9 year olds). The larger climbing frame is quite high and I struggled to reach my 3 year old when she was on it. But that made it ideal for my son. The surrounding land is beautiful and ideal for dog walking. The views are great.

Great place for kids to play. Clean and diverse: good for toddlers and a bit older kids. The only downside is that there's no toilet :(

I love this green space, a very relaxing place to spend time exercising or just sitting. Hope the council don't go ahead with their plans to introduce paid parking.

Nice little park for young kids, older kids and some childish adults! Great views if you climb up out of the valley

Love walking the dog here, surrounded by farmland it is very peaceful even with the road close by. A smashing playground and a couple pockets of trees for kids to feel adventurous in. If there was more dog poo bins and if the pedestrian entrances had closable gates near the roads for greater child and dog safety it would be 5 stars. Kudos to locals for putting up home made dog poo bag holders with spare bags for the times you inevitably forget to bring your own.
