Pies were really fantastic, accompanied with great mash and gravy. The limited Tikka pie had a great curry flavour which worked perfectly in a pie.The market is also a lovely place to sit and people watch, or admire the architecture. The top of the Moo was maybe… burnt onions? I’m not sure what it was, but it was really bitter and ruined the crust flavour for me.Also as good as they were - £17 for a couple pies with mash, in a marketplace, was a bit higher than I’d like to pay. Happy to pay that kinda price in a warm restaurant, but with the lack of heating semioutdoors on a cold day…Still a solid 4 stars.

A perfect evening for me and my girlfriend. The restaurant was a little drafty but the pies weren’t amazing. I can’t thank the guy who served us. He made our day!

The pies and mash were great but the staff lack basic customer service skills! When asked which pie they recommend, the young man serving shrugged his shoulders and mumbled something inaudible at us! We then had to ask another customer in the queue for a recommendation! The youth of today are seriously lacking communication skills!

Great selection of pies that are tasty and easy to love, but they come at some price - £8 for the must have “motherload” option (pie+mash+peas+onion bits). The price is a bit steep, and the food, like most market food, won’t fill you up all the way, but I keep coming back every couple of weeks; the quality is hard to find elsewhere.

Without a doubt the best vegetarian pie I've ever eaten. They have a wide range of pies to suit everyone.. absolutely delicious.. just wish I had a bottomless stomach so I could try them all.

Literally the BEST pie I’ve ever eaten. Ordered one of the vegan Christmas pies and it did not miss! The cheesy mash on the side was heavenly as were the rosemary chips! I’ll be going back asap!

My wife buys me the lovely pies to eat at home. Unbelievably they are even better in the surroundings of the beautiful St Nicholas market - I recommend the Kate and Sidney with mash and peas!

Purchased a Beef and Kidney pie (topped with a little gravy) to go and it was delicious.Honestly it was a taste sensation. The staff were friendly and I was served quickly. Plenty of seating available. The pie did cost £5 which did seem a lot but upon consumption I can see the pie was made with real quality ingredients. This is a real treat. I will be buying my lunch from there again.
