Unfortuneatly I was recommended to this company . Mr Marvan came to our property to give us a quote and on first meeting he seemed quite genuine and sounded like he new his business. We wanted a large patio,turf the garden,supply and install a decking area and block pave our driveway and front pathway and door step. He made recommendations about what he could do as well, render a small wall, include paving from patio to decking and supply and lay white stones behind our small existing patio. All seemed good and we received a quote £10000 more than 2 other quotes we had received. Because of the high recommendation we received we decided to go ahead. The quoted stated a 25% deposit required, no problem, but before starting this increased to 50%, at that point we should have declined the quote and waited.The first week everything went well, driveway and front fence and doorstep all mostly completed, not exactly the design we wanted but was still acceptable but still not completed.From then on it pretty much went down hill. The workers would turn up as and when, and we also had a problem with drainage. I was assured by Mr marvan that it was not a problem as they could resolve this issue, obviously it would be an extra, turns out a £7200 extra. The manufacturers suggest a 2 day 2 man job, it took 3 weeks, mainly because staff were very rarely there, or he would send kids along , which I know everyone has to start somewhere. It was only after 10days I was informed that Marvans had never done it before and were taking instruction over the phone.After 3 months it was finished, only to Mr Marvans standard. The man hole in garden sunk within 2 days, the decking had to be redone as it was bouncing, the turfs had to be taken up three times, the patio taken up in several places because of puddles,an aco drain had to be installed to the side of the garage and the garden is a huge bog. Apparently it will take 3 months to settle, the newly painted house will have to be repainted and there is guarantee the water tank underground, has actually been installed properly and will actually work. I have supplied many photo's, one I haven't though, was where one of his workers spat on our new bi fold doors. We never got our nice white stones or the paving from the patio to the decking, as apparently he never said that to my partner and I. But he would do it as an extra.I never post comments, but in this instance I had to, Marvans may be good at cutting trees and bushes, but I feel this job was to big for them and outside of their experience and professionalismUpdate: just got independent surveyors report agreed by both parties.Not good. Drainage system installed, not fit for purpose, garden is waterlogged and all turfs will have to be taken up, decking installed will have to be taken up and installed to meet industry standards, all supports are standing in water. Big mistake choosing Marvans landscaping.

We used marvans for a new patio for the back of our house, from start to finish the marvans team were professional and left the site tidy at the end of the day, we are over the moon with the finished product. I would definitely recommend this company to friends and family
