PSR Experience (Curborough)

Left feeling a little underwhelmed. Bought the step son a 3 car package, the actual driving of the cars for him went fine (other than a 30min+ delay due to mechanical issues with the GTR which is just one of those things). However we had a few issues, firstly having booked for a Lambo we were told there could be up to a 2 hour wait for one as one was out of action, but we could upgrade to the McLaren for £15. Tbh I'd have thought they wouldn't be charging for this but they did.Then when we were signing on I said I wanted to get a high speed passenger ride in the Ariel Atom for the younger lad (11 year old) and paid for it. Unbeknown to me the lady dealing with us didn't realise I meant the younger brother of the driver as he wasn't standing with us. Anyway the driver went to his briefing and then goes straight away to drive the R8. When he gets out I ask him what happened to the familiarisation laps we paid for, spoke to the guy organising the drivers and they didn't put it on the system so he missed them. Then whilst waiting for the GTR I spoke to the Welsh guy and explained it was the younger brother doing the high speed ride. He didn't seem like he was particularly listening to me and just told me it had to be done after the drives so after 20 mins I spoke to a younger guy who said they were not aware it was the younger brother so we need to fill another form in. Fill the form in, bring him over to be welcomed with oh he looks like he might be too small we need to measure him". And low and behold he was just under the height limit so we now needed a refund for that as well as the familiarisation laps. The lady I dealt with originally was apologetic and said she didn't realise I meant someone else as he wasn't with me. Then another guy joined in (looked like a manager) and gave a very thinly veiled apology whilst quite clearly blaming me for the whole incident because the younger brother wasn't with me on sign on

I have to really commend this company for their customer service. All staff were friendly and patient. Despite my preconceived concerns there was no push to buy extras or upgrade. I got the impression staff genuinely wanted everyone to have a good day. My 20 year old with Learning disability was accommodated without a concern. Both boys said their instructors (Alan and Paul) were great - patient and friendly. Kay one of the staff helping to sign in was particularly patient as we needed to swaps cars at the last minute. All in all I was very impressed

My husband had really enjoyed his late Xmas present and wanted to go again so will book next time

Really poor and don't forget the extra £25 charge fo accidental damage!!! £50 photos ect an absolute con.

Travelled 3 hours for a triple supercar experience to get turned around at the gate. If the day is cancelled wouldn't it be wise to send out emails so people don't waste fuel and time travelling.

Had a brilliant day at this venue. The instructors were helpful and gave me great confidence. The setup is pretty basic but you don't really need much more. The signage to the venue is not that clear but I found it after turning back on myself. There are extras on offer at a cost but no more expensive than other venues. From my experience I would go again and would definitely recommend the Porsche 911, what a great car!

Wow. What a day! 5 supercars, a crazy taxi and an Ariel Atom. Ok the cost was a lot and the extras on the day were too but for my 16 year old it was totally worth it. I couldn't stop smiling and I wasn't even driving. The whole experience was excellent from start to finish and my son felt totally comfortable, after his 1st drive! Shout out to the guy calling out names who hosted the day and to the patient instructors who all made it as good as could be and even better than I expected. Thanks PSR, hope to be back soon....

Needs more signage to help you find it especially with the HS2 work going on. at one point i nearly gave up .....I had 8 laps in the 65 Mustang booked in but it was broken down so I agreed to go out in the Camero which was OK.Then i had an extremely long wait for my 2 hot laps, I asked 4 times and each time it was going to be soon or in a minute.When I was finally taken out the driver who was apologetic said he would give me another lap. I was there 2 hours but in cars for ten minutes.I feel the staff were friendly but the administration let's it down .I have been on many of these events and this was not the best.

Took our soon for his 1hr Mini session, when he got out his smile said it all. Very thorough team, well organised and kept updated throughout, well done PSR. .

Overall okay, bad value for money with the time you get. Tony was my first instructor and really really good. My second instructor was bad and killed the experience alittle.
