A small amateur theater with some great shows

Great little theatre, thoroughly enjoyed the play

Nice studio space, great little bar.This theatre is a little hidden away down a rather bumpy track, not for parking down! Parking needs to be made not too far in the public car park (free on the evenings) and walk round to the theatre.Once through the doors you are transported into another world.Stairlift and disabled loo, nice bar and bar area. The bar is small but offers wine, beer and coffee (maybe more but I didn't see more. Good news is they don't sell sweets so you can actually watch sons theatre without the constant russle of wrappers and the now enviable munching! Such a joy.Sensible prices for proper size glasses of wine from proper bottles, therefore nice! Friendly welcoming volunteers, comfortable seats.The group have a high standard of theatre but that is very much on a show by show opinion.The night I was in I got a little chilly in the theatre so I recommend layers, I have known if be quite warm too!

Loved it. I love that little theatre. Laughed at the pre-interval play. Scoffed the mince pie and drank the mulled wine. I enjoyed the Christmas readings and sang heartily with the carols.What else could you want for Christmas entertainment?

Very small theatre. 60 seats or so.Intimate. Decent bar. Very good performance.

A great little theatre tucked away in Shirley. Saw The Merry Wives of Windsor which was brilliantly acted by all the cast.

If you're looking for an enjoyable evening out, look no further. Don't be put off by the word 'amateur' as it does have negative connotations, however the actors and crew are extremely talented and all love what they do. Fantastic choice of shows put on throughout the year.

Exceptional little theatre. Lovely atmosphere, warm welcome, fabulous production of The Signalman, and good acting by the young people involved.
