Chinley Camping
With a stunning view, this campsite is one of my favourite campsite in the Peak District. Katie and Henry are fantastic. If you enjoy quite small campsite this is the one for you. In addition, Icelandic sheep in their farm are so cute and fluffy, we can watch them all day. Don’t miss out on the fire pit, trust me you would like it.

Great site, Henry was really welcoming. Facilities were good, toilets and showers, cleaned regularly, fresh water and pot wash facilities. Our son helped to feed the chickens one day and the little goslings we're great to see. Fire pit was well worth getting too

Great campsite in a good location with relatively flat ground (we stayed in a T4 van). Loads of space in their field occupied by considerate campers. Fire pits allowed. Owners were very welcoming and approachable. Excellent clean facilities. Thank you for accommodating us last minute we had a very relaxing stay.

Lovely family run campsite, quiet and peaceful. Nice toilet/shower block with underfloor heating. It was a weekend of snow so we were the only ones camping, lovely views and a short walk into Chinley or Chapel-en-le-frith the other way.

Small gem of a campsite, sitting on land of a family run small holding. Lovely owners who are happy to answer any questions you may have. The facilities (showers, toilets as well as washing up area) were always spotless. You can buy fire wood from them as well as hire a fire pit and if you like eggs, don't forget to ask for duck or chicken eggs. Lovely little touch were the toilet seat and step for the little ones which made our 3-year old feel very independent. We can definitely recommend this campsite.

Fantastic campsite we happened to come for the night when the field was like a swamp after torrential rain but the owner showed us the best possible place to pitch etc and was on hand to help with any vehicles getting stuck due to this. Would highly recommend spotless toilets and showers. The views were stunning will definetly making a return visit

Very nice, clean and pretty campsite in the Dark Peak. Great location for exploring around Hayfield, Chinley, Chapel and Buxton. Friendly owners, great views and nice open pitches. Fires are allowed (bring your own or rent from the site). Safe hedged in field for kids. Field is as level as you will find in the Peak District.Clean toilets and showers (2 of each). There is no EHU at this site, doesn't bother us as we don't use it but just to be aware.

A lovely little site, in beautiful location, with pubs, shops and great walks to do. One of the most helpful hosts I have ever been to. Can be a little noisy but if you can deal with that, then it's highly recommended

We had a great long weekend at Chinley Camping. Henry was so friendly and welcoming and the site just had a lovely and relaxed feel.We love sites where you're not crammed in and Chinley is perfect - everyone pitches up around the edge of the field and the kids are able to safely play in the middle. We had loads of space and privacy.The facilities were really clean and it is great to have hot water at the washing up sink. Our kids loved making friends and feeding the lambs and are already asking when we can return (which we definitely will be!)

A lovely campsite with great owners. They go the extra mile to make sure you feel welcome and are always around should you need anything. We look forward to staying again in the near future hopefully!
