Dave Kane Cycles

I have been a cusomer of Dave Kane Cycles for about 20 years. I have always had the best of service and knowledgeable advice - something that is often in short supply elsewhere.

I ordered a pair of Castelli bib tights (in stock and ready to ship") and sat back to await delivery. After ten days I grew a little anxious and emailed. I got a reply two days later promising to look into the matter.I got no subsequent email and had to again contact them to ask what was happening. After another two days I got an email stating that there had been 'problems' with the website and my item was no longer available

I started road cycling 6 months ago. Unfortunately I broke down when my gears stuck in the toughest gear and I had to abandon my ride.I limped to Dave Kanes and asked for help only to be told they were too busy. They literally left me at the side of the road and wouldn't even look at the bike. They could have even looked at it before saying the didn't have the time.

Tried on two occasions to get some advice about buying a new bike or alternatively looking at upgrading the groupset on my existing bike. Tried to support my local shop but these guys seemed to have no interest in even trying to assist In trying to give some advice. They advised they were out of bikes and were trying to source some and to call back. I tried a few days later to call back to get an update and was met with the same attitude as before. Customer service is lacking and as a result will take my business elsewhere.

Great wee shop. Helpful, knowledgeable & friendly staff. After sales customer service every bit as good as when your buying a new bike. Glad I found this hidden gem.

Have bought many items from Dave Kanes over the years and have always received excellent service. Bought a pair of Mavic KSYRIUM SLs from them last year and what a difference it made to my bike. Mark swapped everything over for me and I got 10% off as well :-)Placed an online order from their website last week and the service was every bit as good. Paul kept me up to date with the order and even sorted out an issue concerning a wrong size of overshoe sent to me (wrong label on card) by sending me out the replacement item without delay.Having guys there that are passionate about cycling and can answer my stupid questions (mainly concerning nutrition etc) is a major plus.First class guys A+

Top Local Bike Shop run by the Kane Family. I have bought my road bikes there and have had them serviced there every year. Excellent knowledge and service . If its cycling your into this is the place .

My husband and I bought two bicycles from here back in 2005 - I'm still riding them (!) it was the best fit I've ever been given on a bicycle and he chose two very good almost matching bicycles for us. Unfortunately I lost my late husband in 2012, and have been cycling a lot to help with the bereavement, and I'm so glad I got the bicycles here. I know a bit more about bicycles now, but he really knew how to fit the bikes to us. I am grateful. He was also very patient. 5 Stars and thank you
