Please do not even consider this place they treated my dad so bad restraining him putting him in a cold room all this contributed to his untimely death

The care staff and physio team are really friendly and certainly care about the residents and they are focussed on rehabilitation. Despite a run down feel to the accommodation, my first impression was of a caring team with lots going on for residents. However, at their own admission, it is not a place to be if very unwell and in my opinion should not accept people who need lots of help to look after themselves, if they can not provide this level of care. When we were really worried about my fathers care in December and January, I was told by the manager that she was not interested in hearing about my concerns or my feedback. When my father died we were dealt with very unkindly by the manager and she kept changing the information she gave us about our fathers death. Despite the worrying attitude of the management, the staff continued to be kind.

One of the worst places I have ever worked in. The staff were absolutely the rudest bunch of people I'd ever worked with, they really contributed to me having poor mental health. This was my first ever care job and experience. Expected me to pick up absolutely everything within a week and made very rude remarks when I struggled physically and mentally, made accusations about me that weren't true because they saw me as easy pray and even saying I'd never get very far but now I am a senior carer with a team who actually appreciates me. I hope to god you all learned how to treat people with respect and grew the hell up. Baring in mind these are a team of adults and CARE assistants. Clue is in the name.

My mum lived here for nearly three years until she died last Saturday. She was very well looked after staff are happy and friendly

I cannot express my gratitude for the staff and managers whilst looking after my mum Mavis Wise. The staff work extremely hard and they did everything they could to make my mum comfortable and well cared for whilst she was in the home. My mum felt totally at ease and comfortable. My mum loved the staff. They made her feel loved and happy and she felt like it was her home. The staff are totally professional as well as caring for each individual. I cannot express my gratitude to you all. Towards the end of her life they were all still supporting me and my family and I cannot thank you enough for your love, dedication and support.

My grandmother is here and is very happy..staff are always amazing and helpful.

Would I recommend this care home? NOSimply because they didn't comply to my mum's dietary requirements, communications is very poor. Doesn't always contact family when mum was unwell. Security is poor as my mum has managed to get out the home on occasions resulting in the police being involved and another occasion she fell and broke her arm.

I have a relative here with dementia, the staff are fantastic with her even though she can be tricky.
