1. It's not actually a Starbucks. It's a local shop that happens to sell Starbucks coffee. 2. I have never encountered staff quite so rude. (Indeed, they are so rude that they would be fired in an instant in a real Starbucks). We waited 15 minutes for four coffees. About 5 minutes into the torturous wait, the staff ordered (and yes, I mean ordered...that tone exactly) everyone who was waiting for takeaway coffee to wait outside. It was raining, but they insisted. When people didn't immediately follow their orders, they repeated the command in an exceptionally rude tone. 3. It's insanely slow (see above). The only reason it was so busy inside was that the staff were utterly incompetent and couldn't get ordered out. 4. When they brought out three of our four coffees, they insisted we had only paid for three so they weren't making the fourth one until we paid. No, they knew about the fourth one because they knew we were expecting four, so I suspect we had actually paid for it and they just ripped us off. However, I was so weary of waiting that I just paid for it again. The nasty barista woman refused to hand it over until the transaction had gone through the payment on the till. The woman actually at the till said not a word but simply frowned.For such a poxy, fake Starbucks with awful service, they certainly are a jumped up bunch who think highly of themselves. Sad, really. I would never go back. There are plenty of other local shops that have friendly staff. Orkney is lovely. The awful people at this place are not.

Avoid !Awful place! Not Starbucks! Rude, aggressive, unhelpful, slow and nasty staff. Places like this don't deserve our business. Boycott and let them go bust. What an embarrassment to the beautiful Orkney. Shame on the owner.

Great place! Super nice staff, cute atmosphere. They serve Starbucks drinks but technically they aren't an actual Starbucks store. Lovely local shop with good coffee and food!
