100% recommend these guys! Nigel went above and beyond to find the fault on my car, fixed a few little problems that I didn’t even know we’re there as later down the line would of caused me some issues. I cannot praise the service received highly enough. We had a problem with my daughter's car which appeared to be insoluble despite at least three different reputable mechanics spending time on it. Booked the car in with Nigel and towed it down the evening before. The following day I received a phone call giving a comprehensive breakdown of the problem with full costs associated with alternative solutions. We were able to drive away the car (first time for 2 months) 2 days later. I must admit I delayed writing this review, just in case! but a month later my daughter has a fully functioning car running better than ever, and with the added bonus no need for Dad can I borrow your car again?"We are both very grateful - thank you."

Nigel at Phillips auto Electrical is excellent. My vehicle broke down you couldn't select any gear's on the automatic box the AA recovered the car and the diagnostic test indicated an issue with the transmission Control module they took it to a gearbox specialist in Portsmouth who couldn't diagnose the problem. I moved it to Phillips and Nigel diagnosed and repaired the fault in one day also fitted a new battery £500 well spent. Thanks Nigel excellent service.

Found this garage to be absolutely superb. They took my little old Peugeot in with an electrical fault on the rear offside light cluster. The fault was diagnosed quickly - unfortunately due to the age of the car it was very hard to source a new light cluster. The garage found and purchased one on ebay for me and fitted it. I couldn’t praise the customer service enough- always kept informed and a good job done. Thank you so much.

We went into the Phillips as they were recommended by our local garage who were unable to fix a fault on our 2004 Toyota Yaris.The problem was complex due to ABS kicking in when braking at very slow speeds. After ordering replacement parts the problem still could not be fixed. There was no charge for the part or the labour time they spent, despite my offer, instead refreshing honesty from them stating next option would be very costly and worth more than value of car !Recommended since they were both very clear about potential faults, communicated at all stages to us and honesty despite costing them on parts and labour. Felt like a Christmas gift ! Thank you so much.

I have Renault Megan’s from 2008, the electric is an nightmare to get fixed. But the team here was amazing, they sourced out the parts needed and fixed it right away for me. And if you ask they will show you exactly what they had to do and replace and give you the old parts back if you want! Completely trust them.
