What a fab shop. Bought a pair of loakes ladies boots, great shoes and fit like a glove. Also took in a pair of Dr Martin Chelsea boots that were too tight over the top of my foot to get them stretched, and now they fit like a glove.If you need a shoe repair, or are buying a new pair of good quality decent shoes, pop in here. The staff are lovely, very friendly, and knowledgeable of their products, and very helpful too.Maggie Hanley from Derby

Bought a beautiful pair of Loakes from Greens today. The service was absolutely first class. The staff were extremely knowledgeable, courteous and professional, and Steve carefully explained the construction process of the shoes and pointed out the technical differences between the various styles. It was an absolute pleasure buying from Greens, and I'll most definitely be back for more.

I would strongly advise anyone to not trust this store with any high quality shoes. I handed over my Church's for a refurb, they were returned to me completely ruined and as settlement offered me half the original value. If you hand your phone into Samsung to repair and they break it, they give you a new phone. They don't offer you half the value and expect you to buy a new one yourself. This matter took four months to resolve and they even initially refused to return my shoes unless I amended this review. Dishonesty, lack of professionalism and a disgrace from a store that claims to value quality.

I had a bit of an emergency with a new bag. The straps were coming loose and I'm away from home and we go on holiday on a couple of days. I popped my bag in and they fixed it the same day for a great price.Lovely bunch who run the place, big thank you to Steve, (I think it was?) who fixed my bag the same day. Much appreciated!

Very unhappy with their repair service!! Left a pair of walking boots with them to be resolved.After 2 weeks I had phone them to see when they would be ready And they hadn't been touched. A few days later I got them back only for the boots to leak when walking across fields. Returned them to sort the problem out. A week later still not heard anything. Absolutely terrible service!
