Terrible! All kilts when picked up were wrong size. Really hard to get them on the phone. My husbands jacket was too big. And they said they didn't do one small enough...this was the week before the wedding. We he'd already been in twice. Lost our notes. Didn't tie ties. Or even have ties to begin with. 7 kilts from this joke of a company and ONE fitted. Which was the best man's. Stay clear!

When everyone else laughs at you for wanting a kilt the same week. These guys always have a few tucked away somewhere. Plus they probably have the biggest selection I've seen.So the place might not look like much, it's got that run-down feeling, and they do lean towards the expensive side - however they have saved my arse now on several occasions so thumbs up.

Stay clear of Mackenzie Menswear!!My wife and I used Mackenzie Menswear last year for our wedding in April.Myself and family who were wearing kilts visited the store a few months prior to be measured etc. Really good service at this point, we had no issues.Skip to a few days before the wedding, I received a phone call from my dad saying his kilt outfit and my brother in laws didn't fit. They returned to the store and got a replacement. My brother from America arrived and he had the same issue, it didn't fit.Myself and best man picked up all the kilts, when we did none of the ties we had chosen were there. We had also asked for the ties to be ready for us just to put on, so all ready tied. That hadn't been done either. The notes that we had left with the store employees had gone missing.All the money you are spending in these places you would expect the service to be flawless! At the point of returning the kilts we complained to the manager who gave us lots of excuses, blaming us for not trying visiting the store AGAIN to try the kilts on.I am still waiting for the general manager to phone me, one year one month later! As I said above, avoid this place. There are plenty other kilt hire shops that are brilliant!

Thank you to all staff at MckenziesOrdered 9 full kilt outfits for my grandsons wedding in 26th MayPicked up the kilts on 24th and found due to my on fault that my kilt was to large and also 1 of the waistcoats although it fitted was a bit tight. I contacted the shop and they could not have been more helpful. problem was solved within 10 minutes the next day.Once again thank you to Mckenzies for helping make the day a big success .

Got my kilt made to measure from here and they couldn't have been nicer! Didnt bat an eyelid that I was a woman wanting to wear a kilt on my wedding day! Would highly recommend this place loads of tartan to choose from really friendly and reasonably priced! Amazing x

Honestly find yourself another kilt hire shop!!!! Jackets were badly stained & some ripped, holes in socks, odd sized shoes .....I could go on. If you do decide to get your kilts from here make sure you check everything before your big day.

Went in needing just a kilt for this coming Friday, walked out with it 10 mins later. Will have it for 7 days in total and paid £29.99. Top notch.

Guys in there are very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. Got a massive range of kilts available - much more than any of the stores in the rest of Glasgow have, both to rent and buy. Don't have to book hours in advance to see kilts either.

Terrible service. First my measurements were lost. I attended a second time only to be told by the woman with blonde hair at the desk I hadn't even attended. Congratulations you've just called your customer a liar. Next the kilt was recieved and oh boy did what lay in the bag have treats in store for me. Shoes looked like they should have been binned in the eighties; over worn and splitting from the sole. Terrible stain marks over anything that was white. Burst elastic where there was elastic. Kilt far to big that after two steps had dropped 3 inches (even after twice being measured). Waistcoat 'clown' worthy in size. Least the jacket was great. If you want to hire a jacket I recommend; anything else, you take your big day/evening in your own hands! Is zero stars a ratings option...

Hi just back from my sons wedding hired or kilts .picked them up tried them on.sons waistcoat a little tight,called in no problem they let the waistcoat out to fit,superb service,they even had ties knotted in a Windsor knot so that the wedding party were all the same.wow.everyone at wedding commented about highland dress and how smart everyone looked.will definitely be back when the need arises.no hesitation in recomending,so much choice and variety.staff could not be any more attentive and caring.thank you.
