Emma was without a doubt, one of our most standout suppliers for our entire wedding. From start to finish, she made the process a complete joy and we could not recommend her more highly. The team are extremely friendly, professional and reliable. They listened to exactly what we wanted and were able to give amazing advice and guidance, where required.We always felt we were in safe hands throughout and were utterly thrilled with the t outcome of our beautiful flowers on the big day. I was lucky to find great suppliers for pretty much every aspect of my wedding, but Emma stands out as a real highlight. I knew right from the start that she would do an amazing job, and she did ... it is clear that she not only loves flowers and what she does, but she is also very good at listening to what a bride is dreaming of, and translating it into a beautiful reality. She really knows her stuff and combines artistic flair with being very down to earth; she grasped what I was hoping to achieve very quickly, steered me gently but competently in the right direction, and completely nailed it on the day. It was an absolute joy to watch her create a stunning arrangement over a large fireplace on the morning of the wedding - it seemed effortless, it grew out of nothing and it looked (and smelled!) fabulous. It was much photographed and commented on! All the flowers were exactly as we had discussed and absolutely beautiful - she is passionate about what she does and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her. Being an Interior Designer by trade and having an absolute passion for all things floral, finding a florist to collaborate with me, but also guide me felt like my hardest task during the wedding planning. After looking for quite some time, I stumbled across “Matha and the Meadow” and straight away I knew Emma was the right florist for me. Her website style, e-mail manner, assertive yet positive nature and not to mention beautiful floristry style, made for an easy decision.Straight away Emma gave me a call to run through what I had proposed. She explained where I could be more economical and some florist hacks to make the budget go further; this was before we even discussed money in depth – which really did put my mind at ease knowing that her work ethic was about the best possible design for the money and not lead by profit margins. Directing me to some linen suppliers and suppling beautiful candles was not part of the “standard florist scope” but really helped bring the look together.This was not a quick design process, due to my nature – but Emma was incredibly patient and really worked super hard making changes, working within budgets and high detail levels to eventually get to the scheme which I felt relaxed with. Good to go… a table of guests pull out and we need to completely revise the floor plan, which means we need to get four new large glass vases a week before the wedding! Emma graciously helped a bride in need and called her London florist associates and before we knew it, had hooked us up with some more vases and we were sorted. This really was way above Emma’s role at the time and I will be forever grateful for her help during quite a worrying moment. To add, the documentation of the process is super well organised and clear, as it the quotation and variations.Effortlessly dancing between difficult wedding party guests, busy marquee build ups and hot churches – Martha and the Meadow took my breath away when I walked into the Church for the first time and then into the wedding breakfast… “it’s like a Royal Wedding in here” my Mother smiled, a tear in my eyes – the hardest to please was delighted – you can decide if that was me or my Mother!Emma thank you and your team for everything. For me, it made our wedding and I can rest up knowing the flowers could not have been more perfect. The fact that they were all British Flowers and you are an advocate for sustainable floristry was the cherry on the cake.Until the next event… xxx

I had the pleasure of working with Emma on a large wedding at St Giles House in November 2019 and I cannot recommend her highly enough. Her flowers were beautiful and exactly what the couple wanted. But what I think truly sets Emma apart is her thoughtful and thorough design process, which is underpinned by her flower knowledge and passion to get everything just right. As a planner and stylist, I really valued her support to deliver the couple's wider style brief. In short, I can't wait to work with her again!

Not only were the flowers that Emma did for our wedding absolutely beautiful but she really took the time to get to know me and my husband in the run up to the wedding. The flowers really reflected our personalities, style and what we love as couple. She is very knowledge and was able and was able to bring all our ideas to life far better than we could have imagined.
