I visited here last week for tea with my little girl; it was a clean pub with a friendly atmosphere and brilliant staff! I had a burger which came with fries but I opted for a jacket potato instead which was no bother at all to do. For my little girl I chose to do the meal deal which came with a main, pudding & a drink, with so many different options she was spoilt with choice! The highlight of my visit was one of the bar staff coming over and asking my little girl if she wanted a colouring sheet and crayons to do whilst waiting for our food to arrive. Would come here again, lovely place! I noticed they do a quiz one night of the week which I mentioned to the school mums to try one week!

The pub and drinks is OK in here. I'm not going to say unnecessary things etc. As the lager is ok. And other staff in here have been very pleasant in past etc. The problem i had today was on my way out i told a bar lady id left my half pint glass outside after finishing my half a lager. I said it out of good manners and respect as that was the only glass left outside. I was the last person outside at that time and no glass collector was there etc. There was alot of children running around the pub inside, and I cared there could of been an accident with broken glass etc as they was not under control etc. As i was the only person in the smoking area at that time etc. The bar lady arrogantly shook her head when I informed her id left a glass outside. As though she was superior to me and why did I tell her etc. You know the saying actions speak louder than words etc. No thankyou for being so considerate etc. I'm not a moaner etc, I've put in lots of good reviews about places etc. But I feel some authority people the power goes to there heads, and they patronise everyday folk etc. Then they expect us to respect authority, people in charge etc. She should of said thankyou for being so considerate.

First time visiting for the pub quiz last week, and it was absolutely amazing! Great atmosphere, great food and great staff, very attentive to the customers. We felt looked after, they couldn't do more to make sure we had a great time. Will definitely be back.

Very friendly local pub. Great food, great prices. All the staff are friendly. Lovely, happy atmosphere. We have eaten several different meals here and couldn't fault any of them. The place to go if you want value for money with great bar staff.

Went in here as a couple for food before meeting friends. We were greeted by all staff members with a warm welcome and again when we left a goodbye was given. Lovely range of gins available with a good offer on when doubling up. Will be returning again in the future.

The Dunes has been our local now for around 5 years; we tend to come in on a Saturday and Sunday afternoon for a couple of pints. We occasionally visit on a Friday night or Sunday teatime for food, opting for something off the 2 meals offer. Our go to favourites are hunters chicken and fish & chips, which are highly recommended. The staff at The Dunes are great and we look forward to each of our visits!

Me & my fiance had a spontaneous date night and decided on trying The Dunes for some food and drink. We were very happy with the service and atmosphere was great throughout our visit. Highly recommend the small plates deal; we did the 5 plates for £19.50 which meant we could share them between us and it was such good value for money! The mango & lime chicken tacos being a firm favourite of ours. We will be returning here again as we felt very welcome and enjoyed our experience, thanks again!

Having recently moved to the local area we attended here for Sunday lunch as a family; such a lovely dinner, we had a mixture of beef and turkey. We were asked if everything was okay with the our meals and asked if we needed anything and constant communication throughout our visit. Warm and friendly local which we will be returning to again in the future.

Came in with 3 big dogs, amazing to have a dog friendly pub!!! Nathan brought us water for them and treats. He was a very nice guy and deserves a raise if you ask me. Made our experience worth it

Attended recently with my partner, the staff were wonderful and happy to help us with any queries. The food was good, no complaints there! These added to the atmosphere and made it over all a really nice stay for us.
