Pleasance Courtyard
Great atmosphere but very chilly which is obviously something the venue has no control over, however, most seating situated under the large umbrellas were equipped with heaters. These were, sadly, turned off. My attempts to rectify this were unsuccessful which resulted in an earlier than anticipated exit from this vibrant venue

Great place to visit during the Fringe, so much going on, lots of different stages and areas to visit.Great outdoor seating with lots of shade, really diverse shows so something for everyone. We warched Eh up me Flowers, the story of Charlie Williams, so interesting, loved itIt has the best atmosphere, a really nice space to soak up the Edinburgh Fringe.

I attended various shows here during The Fringe. Comfortable seating, good mix of venue size and performer. Excellent facilities...food stalls, bars, toilets, etc.

My favourite Fringe venue. Super well run. Plenty of food stands, bars, and clean bathrooms. Shows that get to perform at Pleasance generally seem to be good, too.

What a busy fringe venue with a wide choice of shows and performances at all times of the day.Check your venue as Pleasance Dome is a different building, a bit of a walk away with the same multitudinous choice of shows.

At the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and my first experience of a small venue, stand-up set was superb. Not least because Celya AB is extremely funny. The faintly surreal one-liners come thick and fast, particularly in the first half of her act, and an hour flashes past. The whole vibe of the Fringe is terrific, with a little Munich beer festival thrown in. Looking forward to the next couple of days..

Cheese toasties suffered somewhat from being churned out in mass quantities, using simple sliced bread and almost under cooked/not crisp. Was hoping they'd have tastier cut sourdough or ciabatas.Aside from that food stall, so many staff in the venue itself there always seems to be someone picking up litter or willing to help in a friendly manner. Good place, if a little too busy at times (when the huge number of venues all finish a show for lunch, at the same time)

This was my first time at the Edinburgh Fringe and we saw two shows at the Pleasance Courtyard. I was really impressed by the Courtyard area and the multiple bars and food outlets on site. However, it can get extremely busy over the weekend which is to be expected, so if possible, I'd recommend booking a week day show.

Great venue for the fringe! Can easily spend here the whole day - plenty of options for food, drinks & great show… and a short walk from the Royal Mile.My first show was ‘In Loyal Company’ - highly recommended!
