RS No. 9 Carnaby

Being a 45 year Stones fan, imagine my reaction when I happened upon their store in SOHO! From the informative and knowledgeable staff to the merchandise gems here, this was a fabulous experience. Must be on the destination list for any Rolling Stones fan!

If I could a zero, I would. I’ll try to make this brief (it’s been going on for months). I ordered 2 items from them. The keychain arrived but no shirt was in the package. I specifically asked for the items to be shipped together because the previous order was send separately and one item didn’t come. I contacted them immediately. I was asked if I want a refund or a replacement shirt. I chose the shirt (it’s a bday gift for my daughter). I ordered it months in advance of the bday. I was told it would be sent at the end of the month (May). When they didn’t contact me about the replacement, I don’t them back. They old me to wait for a shipping confirmation. None came so I contacted them the next day. I was told that I did get the order (their website showed the order was “partially” delivered). They called me a thief! I was livid at this point (still am) and replied to them saying so. I was then given an insurance form to submit. A form with no “send” button. I am not kidding. I replied back that they are the thieves and they (or the delivery company) should be filling out forms, not me. I am completely innocent in this. So no shirt and no refund. The birthday is days away now. I would not recommend shopping here at all. You might not get your items and have to go through hell to get any help. But the worst is the customer service. They actually called me a thief and they are the ones with my money! How do you honestly give someone an insurance form to fill out that can’t be sent? Spend your money where they respect you and treat you (and your money) seriously. I love the Stones but hate their store.

I was so excited to find out there's a Rolling Stones store in Carnaby St! It's worth checking out if you're a fan as there's lots of cool merch, records, images and design work throughout the store. It's an awesome experience even if you don't intend on purchasing anything.

Dope aesthetic in the store. Second floor is very posh and very nice looking. Also as a tourist from the states I was taken aback by the extreme friendliness of the staff. Great selection on top of that, left with a 1978 world tour t-shirt.

I like this shop. Its very well done, of course its all sort of sell out money money for the stones but it is what it is lol. What I will say is the girls who work there are very nice. Always say hello to me and are polite unlike lots of other shops.. :) nice atmosphere. Xxxx

If you’re a Rolling Stones fan this is worth a detour to have a look around even if you don’t intend to buy.On the outside wall is a graffiti/mural called Spirit of Soho (see photo) that’s worth seeing. It was created in 1991 by the local community.The shop itself is a really nice themed shop for any fan and it’s in the Carnaby Street area so plenty of other fascinating shops nearby too.

Pathetically poor customer service on the U.S. side of No. 9 Carnaby St. Consider this a zero star review. Received a $200 Stones jacket that I ordered online, but it is too big - despite what the specs say on the website. I promptly returned the jacket in perfect, unworn condition and weeks have gone by — and I still don’t have a refund. It takes days to get any type of email response from customer service — if you can call it that - and things seem to go nowhere. There is no customer service number to call. But No. 9 Carnaby St. still has my money. I’m not into providing companies with interest-free loans and I plan to contact the local District Attorney’s office and other authorities who handle consumer fraud where the U.S. operation is based. Additionally, I may reach out to an NBC reporter who does segments on these kinds of consumer nightmares.This has been an awful and frustrating experience and a radical departure from the Stones’s commitment to excellence.

If you're a Rolling stones fan, then this is a must visit shop. Friendly staff and some good original RS items to be bought.

Have visited the shop before and received excellent service but recently ordered an item online due to Rail Strikes and, therefore, difficulty actually visiting the store. Had to return item due unsuitability but now being ignored by Customer Service and no refund. Rapidly going off the the idea of the store now…. Now downgraded my rating from 3 to 1. Very disappointed in non-contact from Customer Service’ Phoned the actual store in Carnaby St but back to square one. Sorry to say I shall not be visiting again, nor ordering online.
