Pick & Cheese - The Cheese Bar - Covent Garden
The best way to describe The Cheese Bar is it is a rotating sushi restaurant, but for cheese! How much fun is that! Make sure you make reservations in advance because it is a tiny little place in a food hall. I loved sitting right at the bar, however the stools were incredibly uncomfortable. They do limit the time that you can sit there, but with the stools the way they are, you will likely not be able to last that long! That being said, the food and the experience make up for it. There are cheeses for every type of palate and while you pay a little for the novelty it felt like it was priced about right. I also ordered the grilled cheese sandwich which was amazing. What a lovely experience - wish it was in the states!

Packer’s Fan approved! So many cheeses. So many tasty cheeses! The menu makes it very easy to figure out what each dish is before picking and the selection is vast. My wife and I went on a Friday night and the place was absolutely popping Be sure to book a reservation before going as it doesn’t seat very many and it’s very in demand.

I booked their Wednesday Unlimited Cheese deal online. Service is extremely kind and friendly, one of the best service I have had in London for a long time. There are a vast range of delicious cheeses, however I would like if there was a more equal balance of soft and hard cheeses (wish there were more soft cheeses) as the hard cheeses did get a bit tough to eat after a while.Overall it was very good, a once in a lifetime experience for me!

Who doesn’t like food on a conveyor! Make reservations ahead of time, it sells out. There is a deposit required and it’s applied to your bill. We didn’t do the unlimited, but there is an option. We sat at opening. The menu has numbers and plate colors and you wait till what you are interested in comes around the belt. Was fun and very tasty. They give you some crackers and water when you are seated, and most of the cheese dishes has some sort of accompaniment . Sometimes you have a wait a bit to find the one you want, as they make them fresh to replenish the belt. Also, the Covent garden area is fun to check out, and this is in the Seven Dials Market in that area.

If you love cheese, you will love this place! It was like cheese heaven. Very much like a sushi bar, you sit at the belt and the cheese keeps on coming. You get a menu telling what each of the cheeses are so you know what you want to try. They are all paired with something, some are very odd pairings but they just work, for example, one was paired with salted fudge, another honey roast peanuts, one with a shortbread biscuit, but it was great so trust the pairings and you will be pleasantly surprised. Would definitely recommend the cheesecake, it was to die for! Our server was Prudhvi who was very nice and helpful. It is very expensive for what it is. We spent £120 for two people for one hour of cheese eating but would do so again on another special occasion. A few small negatives, you are in a food market, not a proper restaurant and there is no real reception area.

Background:The Cheese Bar is located in a food court. The Cheese Bar offers a distinctive experience for those seeking a cheese-centric culinary adventure.Ambience:The seating arrangement, coupled with the conveyor belt of cheese.Service:The service at The Cheese Bar is satisfactory.Food:The cheese selection on display was limited and repetitive, which may be a drawback for those seeking a wide variety. The cheeses available are of good quality and provide a decent taste experience.Overall:Have a visit if you are a cheese enthusiast.

We booked the unlimited cheese Wednesday and it was well worth it! There was 25 types of plates (plus off the menu to order separately which we didn’t try). The cheese pairings were beautiful and we tried everything (except the 3 blue options) and had time to have seconds of our favourite ones and they even give you a menu and a little pencil to tick off what you already tried which I thought was brilliant. Service is amazing, everything was well organised and plates kept coming and cleared out without any disruption. We payed about 75£ for 2 and I thought the whole experience was worth it. Will go back again!

A cheese bar!Great place to go with friends! A conveyor belt of cheese, menu items, drinks, wines, and an overall good time. You can pick the plates of cheese you want as they come - sweet, savory, spreads, hard cheeses, etc., or you can order a grilled cheese or other items.Friendly service.I wouldn't say this is a place you have a full meal at, at least we didnt, but for small cheese plates and wine, it's incredible!

Stop here to have some things to eat as we did not want to have a big meal. If you love cheese this place is the place to go. It likes a sushi bar but with cheese. You are giving a menu that and the staff explains how it works. They add your bill at the end when you are done on the colour plates you have. They have different types of cheese to choice from. There was so much to choose from did not know where to start. They also have desserts to choose from and yes you they are all cheese base desserts. They have different types of drinks you can choose from to have with it. Staff are friendly and helpful.

This place serves terrific cheese platters in a manner similar to sushi conveyor belts (回転寿司). The variety of cheese is immense, and the pairing of the cheese with the sides is very well thought out and creative! They work super well! Our personal favorites are coolea, truffled baron bigod, st Ella, Cornish Gouda, and yarlington. The staff are really friendly and approachable, and some may even recommend you certain cheese plates to try. All in all, we were absolutely delighted to have eaten here. It was a lovely experience. Be sure to book a reservation in advance since the restaurant is very highly / fully booked! Oh, on Wednesday, it is bottomless so you can eat as many plates as you want in 1 hour 15 minutes!
