I've been coming to the salon for a number of years now and have never had a bad experience, Karen and Jenna are brilliant at what they do, very knowledgable and experienced, I always feel like a million dollars when I leave! During the 1st lockdown I found out I was pregnant, and since reopening I never hesitated in returning to the salon. The salon was always spotlessly clean before all this madness happened and I had no doubt that it would be the same since reopening, the girls have gone above and beyond what was expected and I feel very safe everytime I've gone, things are different now but still have a lovely experience in going to the salon. The level of knowledge and advice given is second to non, I've been steered away from a few bad decisions and I've never regretted taking their advice. It's such a shame that a 2nd lockdown is happening but I know Karen and Jenna will come out fighting and will provide fabulous hair and nails for years to come.

Once again a great experience at this fabulous salon. Despite the current circumstances Karen and Jenna were warm, welcoming and professional. Stay safe ladies...see you soon!

I have been going to Whik for many years now for my hair.. I have thin hair and Karen always advises me on the best styles for my hair.. I have recently had a colour and highlights done and I love the colour..They always do a 1st class job..

I love going to Whik and have been going there for years. You always get looked after and feel pampered when you leave. Karen and Jenna are amazing hairdressers and give the best hair care advice. Would highly recommend.

Another wonderful experience at Whik. Got my nails done (shellac) and Jenna did a wonderful Autumnal set, the Karen gave me a bit of a restyle. I’m very indecisive, but Karen knows what suits me and has given me a lovely style.They keep you feeling safe throughout. Wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Took my 5 yr old daughter for a cut, fantastic service. I went back the next day to get my own done. Jenna cut both of our hair she really is great, so easy to be around but yet very professional. I cant wait to go back again, jenna gave me advice on how to look after my hair and i love it!

I have been a client at Whik since 1 week after they opened when the proprietor Karen did my nails for my Wedding.Over the years the salon has changed its look in many ways keeping things fresh and inviting, whilst always keeping up the level of their excellent service.I love going to this friendly, family run salon. Over the years we have laughed together, confided in each other, and felt the strains of recent times, but always a highly professional, & listen to your needs and suggestions place of which you can trust Karen and Jenna are always honest and their professional integrity is second to none.The salon has always been impeccably clean, however due to Covid it has stepped up to another level altogether.All social distancing measures are adhered to 100% and I always feel safe and cared for in this gem of a local business.
