Halton Grove

My husband and I got married at Halton Grove in June this year. We had the most spectacular day. The team really want to make the day and weekend so special so we were able to make everything very personal and us. We really wanted to get married outside and fell in love with the countryside garden feel - we were very lucky with the weather and we loved getting married in front of the house. We also wanted a sharing Mediterranean family style meal with big dishes, lots of colour and veggies and lots of flavour: Emily truly delivered and we have had so many compliments about how good all the food was from our guests. We would definitely recommend to get married at Halton Grove, not just because the venue is just superb but the team are really there for you :)

Our daughters wedding was held here on 7/10/23. A wedding at Halton Grove is a unique and magnificent experience. They have thought of everything and the staff are so friendly and attentive. The venue is beautiful and all our guests commented on the amazing food, which is difficult to achieve quite often when catering for large numbers.Particular thanks go to Jane, Johnny, Haley & Jack who all worked so hard for us to make it a special weekend. We had a wonderful family gathering & meal the night before the wedding and we now have wonderful memories of the whole event. Would highly recommend this venue. We were asked repeatedly how we found it as our family & friends were so impressed. Thank you to all at Halton Grove for such a magical weekend.

My husband Paul and I fell in love with Halton Grove when it was still a building site. Martyn & Simon’s vision was clear and the quality and attention to detail could be seen in the work that had already been completed.The finished venue didn’t disappoint.We started our celebrations on the Friday evening with a meal for our immediate wedding party who were all staying on site. It was the perfect start to what was a wonderful weekend. Our guests would happily have stayed for a week!Emily’s food was incredible - perfectly cooked, generous portions and the gluten free offer excellent.Martyn, Hayley and the front of house team were brilliant. Friendly and attentive but never intrusive.Thank you for a weekend that we will never forget.

My husband and I recently had the most amazing wedding experience at Halton Grove in Corbridge! Martyn and Simon, the owners, worked with us for 18 months to make sure everything was perfect.Emily, the chef, created a culinary masterpiece and all the staff were incredibly friendly. We have heard from so many guests that the food was the best they have ever had at a wedding and they loved the relaxed elegant vibe Halton Grove offers.Our special day was truly unforgettable to us, our family, and our friends, thanks to the wonderful team at Halton Grove. I could not recommended it more highly!

Amazing venue with excellent hospitality!We stayed for 2 nights and found the staff incredibly attentive and nothing was too much trouble. They made sure drinks were topped up during dinner and you were never sat waiting.The ceremony went smoothly thanks to all involved and I'm excited to see the professional pictures given the stunning views surrounding the house.The food served for breakfast, lunch and dinner was excellentThe set courses after the ceremony were excellent, special shout out to the beef dishes it was like butter when you cut into them!Rooms were lovely and warm, shower was amazing.....could have easily stayed or stolen the bed but doubt the groom would have been happy with that ;-)Thanks so much and would absolutely recommend to others, good luck in the future

Five Stars feels like a good review for great Sunday Lunch or a fantastic movie, but it's nowhere near enough to give Halton Grove. We booked the venue for our wedding long before it was close to being finished, so impressed were we by Martyn, Simon and Emily and their vision for a top drawer wedding venue.Having spent so long imagining and looking forward to it, we were amazed by the extent to which the reality outstripped our expectations several times over. The venue is simply stunning, nestled comfortably in the most beautiful countryside and humming with trees, flowers, and inviting lawns. The accommodation is fantastic with great views of the neighbouring sheep and fabulous en suite bathrooms. Every last detail fits the theme and enables the venue to sit so comfortably in it's green and lush surroundings- we particularly liked the chairs in the dining room that felt like something from The Lord Of The RIngs.Every single member of staff was exemplary, without exception. Starting with Johnny, the cheerful and tireless Swiss Army manager (he can dig holes, plan wheelchair routes, deliver breakfasts- anything you want) to Jack, Hayley and Paige and all their colleagues, there was nothing they wouldn't happily take care of for us- on the rare occasion they hadn't already anticipated the need in the first place. Despite being a brand new venue, they seem to have thought of everything - not a single sign of a teething issue or excuse for being new.The food and drink were exceptional and thoroughly enjoyed by all our guests- but we already knew that having been presented with so many fabulous choices at a most enjoyable tasting session months beforehand.We lost count of the number of compliments our stunned and ecstatic guests paid Halton Grove, many of whom remarked quite frankly that it was the single best wedding venue they had ever experienced.Ours cannot be a wholly objective view as it was our wedding and we had the most amazing time with all our friends and family for a whole weekend, but I think that means that if anything had been disappointing or not to our liking then we would have felt it all the more keenly.So, no- five stars isn't anywhere near enough for Halton Grove but sadly Google won't officially let us give them more. Absolutely stunning venue. We went to set up some trees for a couple and the staff were so friendly and helpful. The wedding spaces are bright and airy and the outdoor ceremony spot was beautiful.

We got married at Halton Grove 2 months ago. Everything was perfect from start to finish. Tom and I fell in love with the venue whilst it was very much still a building site. We fully trusted Simon, Martyn and Emily from the start and saw and understood their vision. They did not disappoint and Halton Grove by far surpassed our expectations.All our guests had a tremendous day and our close family and friends who stayed on site could not fault it (and wanted to move in!). Thank you to all the wonderful staff at Halton Grove and special thanks to Martyn, Emily and Simon for the most unforgettable wedding weekend. By far the best venue in the North East and we would recommend it to anyone. Hopefully we get to come back in the future.Thank you again,Fiona and Tom

Myself and my Husband absolutely fell in love with Halton whilst it was still a building site. We saw the vision that Simon and Martyn had and were kept up to date with all of the progress along the way. Adam and I had our special day in August and it was more that magical - Halton exceeded any expectations we had, and the team there couldn’t do enough for us, from looking after my 88 year old grandmother and ensuring she had just the right breakfast! to constructing a last minute corn hole game for us, and sourcing tapered dinner candles when we realised we were short for the wedding breakfast. Huge thank you to Martyn, Emily, Jonny, Hayley and the rest of the team for making us feel so special and welcome - we really didn’t want to leave!
