My training at The Reel Scene has been one of the best acting experiences I've had. What makes it exceptional is the opportunity to learn from various experienced actors who serve as instructors. They share their personal experiences and knowledge, which helps in nurturing your growth as an actor. One of my favourite instructors was Sam Phillips. I particularly enjoyed his teaching style, which included helpful guidance and constant feedback. Whether you're a beginner with no acting experience or someone with some background in acting, I highly recommend starting with the Acting Course Level 1 at The Reel Scene.

I had an incredible 6 days completing the Reel Scene course called The Event. I got the opportunity to be taught by and network with top industry professionals and work alongside amazing people who I have become great friends with. I was provided with all the tools I need to become a professional actor and I have learnt so much in a short time. The team at the Reel Scene are incredibly friendly, supportive and encouraging. They work so hard and really care about their students.

I I was part of Acting Course 1, and it was an awesome experience. The teachers were excellent, providing interesting, useful, and challenging exercises and skills. I had a lot of fun interacting with the other students — everyone was really friendly and nice. It was a truly enjoyable time, and I got to try many activities that actors do. I feel almost ready to start going to auditions :)

All I can say is mind-blowing! The Reel Scene Event was intensive, exciting, hard work (in all the right ways!), rewarding and a huge learning experience. Film shoots with professional actors and directors, real-life auditions with some of the best casting directors in the country, tuition in acting methods from industry professionals, professional head shots and fab support from a great team (Alex, Nicola and Jen), it had it all! All 14 of us on the course enjoyed ourselves immensely, supported each other throughout and formed new friendships. To top it all off, we performed our dramatic pieces at the final day Showcase in front of industry producers, directors, actors and casting agents, giving each of us amazing exposure and potential opportunities.My aim was to kick-start a professional acting career and this was the perfect way to do that. I would highly recommend anyone who wants to hone their acting skills, learn new ones and get exposure to the industry to sign up to The Event! Well done Alex, Nicola, Jen and team!

I have worked with the team on the courses short films and scenes as a freelance sound recordist. Alex and the rest of the RS team have always been very warm and professional and I have always looked forward to a shoot day with them. A welcoming environment with some great directors brought in to coach and guide the students through their performances.

As an Art passionate, I have been curious since years for this path of acting. I would highly recommend The Reel Scene. Nicola and Alex are always welcoming and there for any help or information. I have just finished the Level 1 course and looking forward to continuing with my learning career and experience with them. The different approaches from the teachers (Steve, David, Abigail, Manpreet, Nicola) who are connected to the industry give you a complete vision, real tools and techniques from a professional perspective as well as support creating a safe space to gain confidence when you are starting on this experience.

I have just finished my 1 year course with The Reel Scene and it has been one of the greatest investments I have ever made in my life. I have worked with some incredible talent and gained practical insights about the industry and the creative process which wouldn't be as open to you at traditional drama schools.If you are thinking about applying don't hesitate just do it.

This is an amazing course! At first I wasn't sure a one week course (The Event) was gonna work but as soon as the first day started, I was so happy with my decision. It's a small group so they can focus on you and they give you enough time to grow and evolve. You can learn a lot about how the industry because there are classes with CD, directors, managers, agents... An amazing course! Nicola and Alex are so nice and really listen to you. They really make me feel heard and at home. I don't have enough words to express how amazing this week was!

Great professional screen acting school managed by great people! I did the year course, the weekend schedule allowed me to travel for classes once a month from Paris. I would recommend the Reel Scene for actors who want to understand how the acting industry works in the UK. We got to work with different industry professionals every month (directors, actors, casting directors, producers…), people who can speak and teach from experience. Small group means everyone gets individual attention and screen time. And most importantly every month you shoot scenes for your showreel and at the end of the course you get to act in a professional short film with a director, full crew… we were so lucky to have an incredible set location this year and be directed by Charles Belleville. Thanks a million to Alex and Nicola for this incredible year! :)

After completing ‘The Event’, I can honestly say that The Reel Scene are an incredible company. Alex, Nicola and the rest of The Reel Scene team have gone above and beyond to create a professional experience that is truly reflective of the industry. I signed up to gain more of an understanding in this field and further my career and I have come out of it feeling very fulfilled and very supported by the team and my fellow course members. I’d recommend to anyone!
