Fernando is a fantastic tutor! He is patient, he creates an excellent learning environment and has a great strategy to help you achieve your language goals. I have recommended family and friends to him who have had the same experience. I can truly say that his methods changed my life and opened so many doors for me as a Spanish speaker.

Fernando is a fantastic tutor, and from the first lesson makes you progress at a great pace. I’ve been having lessons now for almost a year and the level of Spanish I can now speak is amazing and far more than I could have imagined. His lessons are easy to follow and he uses all the right tools with added homework to help you practice in the right ways. I cannot recommend him enough!

I have been learning Spanish with Fernando since the summer. I was a complete beginner and wanted to be able to speak with confidence when travelling to Spanish speaking countries. Fernando has ensured from day one that I get plenty of practice in Spanish conversation as well as learning the necessary grammar. He is very patient while making the lesson interesting and fun. Fernando was an excellent Tutor. He helped me at a pace that suited me, took time when I struggled and was always on hand if needed. Was very clear when explaining pronunciations and spelling, which I found really useful in Spain. HIghly recommended.

Both my daughters (15 & 18) and myself have been learning Spanish with Fernando for over 5 years now. Fernando is a native Spanish speaker who makes learning Spanish fun and in a relaxed environment. His tutoring has proved valuable and worthwhile for consolidating and improving knowledge for my daughters’ GCSE and A level courses and, for me, just conversational Spanish. Sessions are well structured to provide progression yet flexible enough to reflect any aspect you wish to focus on: school exams or homework or preparing for your next holiday to Spain. We all enjoy our lessons and would thoroughly recommend Fernando if you have a wish to learn or improve your Spanish language skills.

Fernando is an excellent tutor. He takes time to understand what you want to achieve and the way of teaching that suits you the best. Each lesson is a good balance of general Spanish conversation about what is going on in your life and current affairs followed by a structured segment focused on interesting text book based everyday scenarios. It is a great way of learning new vocabulary, useful everyday phrases and tense selection.Fernando is extremely patient and supportive.Everything is done at a pace you are comfortable with and he makes sure that you have fully understood the learnings before moving on.Highly recommended.

I have been having Spanish lessons with Fernando for several months. He is an excellent teacher. I enjoy the lessons immensely and feel that I have learned a great deal. I had previously been studying Spanish for a while, but Fernando was very quickly able to ascertain my level and gears the lessons to ensure I make progress in learning new material. The correct balance is maintained between conversation and grammar work. Fernando shares many strategies and little tricks such as mnemonics to make it easier to remember grammatical points. Homework tasks always relate to what has been covered in lessons and extra materials such as videos are provided. Fernando has an excellent sense of humour so lessons are relaxed but at the same time interesting and productive. As a teacher myself, I can vouch for Fernando having excellent teaching skills and cannot recommend him highly enough if you want to both enjoy and progress your language learning.

Fernando has made me feel more confident, and I have learnt a lot since starting my lessons. He has adapted each lesson to suit my needs. I would very much recommend him.

Fernando is a great tutor and I would highly recommend. I was extremely nervous about starting to learn a new language and especially lacked confidence in speaking out loud; Fernando immediately put me at ease and I have learnt that I can do it! Lessons are relaxed and at a rate to suit individual needs with an emphasis in being able to communicate effectively in Spanish, I surprised myself by being confident in using my new skills on holiday in the summer and look forward to having even more confidence on my next visit to Spain.
