I had this company recommended to me by a property developer friend who uses them on all of her portfolio. What an excellent referral. The team are very professional and responsive. They went out of their way on a few tricky jobs of mine which I cannot thank them enough for. You certainly get what you pay for with them and no job is too big.

My husband and I had been calling around London for weeks and met with various interior design companies and they all felt quite pretentious, uncomfortable and pushy for us. So when we met with James and Sam it was the opposite.  When we first came in, James was very warm, welcoming and made us feel at home.  Sam was very clear and concise, explaining the design concepts in quite an eloquent fashion.  My partner is quite a visual person and heavily dyslexic and struggles to visualise an empty home. Sam was patient and allowed my partner the time to go over the drawings and configurations. What sets Akura apart is their ability to balance style and functionality. They managed to create a space that not only looks stunning but also suits my lifestyle perfectly. I highly recommend Akura to anyone in search of an interior design firm that delivers exceptional results. They've turned my house into a home I'm proud to show off to friends and family. GOING THROUGH A DAUNTING LEGAL PROCESS TO CLAIM MY LOSSES!RECOMMEND YOU TO CAREFULLY CONSIDER MY EXPERIENCE BEFORE MAKING YOUR DECISIONa) Akura DID NOT DISCLOSE BRAND NAME/ FULL DETAIL of the furniture and made claims, such as, “good quality”, “can stand the test of time” multiple times during the sales processb) Then TOOK PAYMENT ONLY VIA BANK TRANSFER i.e. no debit/ credit card, which means customer will NOT BE ABLE TO DISPUTE TRANSACTION if things go wrongc) Delivered POOR QUALITY goods from STORES LIKE ARGOS, a few of which have STARTED TO DETERIORATE IN LESS THAN 6 MONTHSd) DAMAGED THE WALLS, DOORS, etc. etc. during installation of an expensive new built apartment. ESTIMATED REPAIR COSTS ARE £13,000e) Further, the DELIVERY OF THE GOODS WAS DELAYED, so I could not have the required furniture on my move-in datef) MANY GOODS WERE DEFECTIVE AND DID NOT MATCH DESCRIPTIONg) BEWARE OF THE GOOD RECOMMENDATIONS from the referral network. Property agent provided me strong recommendation and followed up multiple times on behalf of Akura. Akura claims this is not linked to commissions, but I do wonder why this person reached to me to check the total invoice value after I made payment to Akurah) Finally, Akura CONTRACTED SOLICITORS ASKING ME TO REMOVE MY REVIEW. Advice you to consider the ratio of positive to negative reviews in light of this fact

I used Akura to furnish my home as I had heard such wonderful things about the Company. Sam and James went over and above, they were available to speak with, on any queries that I had regarding the budget and vision I had in mind. There were very professional and really brought what I had in mind to life. I have already recommended them to clients and friends of mine, as it’s quite hard to find a company like theirs who will really listen to your needs and stick with the budget you have given them.

I never thought I would have the budget for an interior design service. But, Akura were amenable to what I wanted and the budget I was trying to adhere to. The quality of furniture is fantastic and their service was seamless. Would highly recommend!
