Unfortunately, my experience with Paul Ireland has not been a good one. Paul was recommended through a friend to assist me with a custody application regarding contact with my daughters. Whilst I accept there were complexities within the case, I wholly believe that if I had used another solicitor, I would not be where I am today. During the time in which I was Paul Irelands client, I found it extremely difficult to get into contact with him. Several times I was promised call backs which were then not followed through, however I continued to give Paul a chance. At my first court appearance a replacement was sent on Pauls behalf, which I understand can sometimes happen, she was brilliant. However, during the 2nd appearance, Paul himself attended, he failed to contest anything, even though I myself had built him a dossier of evidence. Following the court’s decision, Paul and I discussed appealing the judge’s decision. I instructed Paul to go ahead and send the paperwork to the court. This must be completed within a certain timescale, in which Paul failed to do. I then tried several times to contact Paul, to no avail. In July, this year I contacted Paul Ireland solicitors to request copies of the case files and to get information regarding a related issue to the previous case. I was told that Paul would be in contact with me. Two days later I then received contact from Paul, in which to my shock he had spoken to the court regarding the new issue and resolved it, he then sent me a text message with a price despite the fact he had gone ahead without me instructing him to, in fact I had already contacted another solicitor regarding this. I followed this text message up with a request for the case files and asked for an explanation as to why he had never filed the appeal paperwork. It is now a month later and I am still yet to receive any contact from Paul. I have also rang his office for my paperwork and emailed them still no reply. In total I paid Paul over £6500 for him to put in very little effort, it was evident that he had taken on too much work and I was not one of his priorities.

So my x husband used Paul Ireland as his solicitor for our divorce ..im a lover not an hater, Paul as a very aggressive approach to things and he's not a very nice man.Ben Westwood my ex husband is exactly like him, I only ever wanted what was fair which was the half of the equity in the marital home!!During our last court case with a district judge ...Paul kept bringing up that I was an alcholic and substance misuse addict...I had to Google what substance misuse was because I had no idea.It was a hearing for the financial part that's all..so why he felt the need to keep trying to berate me is beyond me.Stay away he's a nasty awful person.

I have used Paul Ireland Solicitors for divorce purposes. He came highly recommended by my friend. Unfortunately the first solicitor I instructed (not Paul) was exceptionally slow and neglected to issue the correct advice.Once I transferred to Paul he was honest and friendly and explained everything in layman's terms, always acting in the best interests of myself and my children.12 months after my divorce I needed to contact him again regarding a family matter. Yet again he has issued advice and reassurance which has been invaluable.I am so glad that I was recommended Paul Ireland Solicitors. Paul kindly witnessed my signature on an MVL declaration for me just before Christmas, having tried to procure this device from other law firms that, due to pandemic, weren’t offering. Paul was super friendly and helpful. I came away having had a complete service. Highly recommend.

Around 10 years ago my father used this company to fight a custody case against my mother for me. My father even held up photo evidence of physical abuse and the courts ignored it. Paul Ireland solicitors did not help my father in any sort of way and allowed him to lose the battle. Instead they basically pushed the case in my mother’s favour and landed me in for a literal decade of abuse (in many forms). This would not have happened if Paul Ireland did their job to the standard they claimed to be. Do NOT use this company if you even want a remote chance of the court being in your favour.

After speaking with Paul he quoted me a fixed fee for a document but since then I've received an invoice which has the bill set 300 pound plus VAT more than what was discussed . This is something I expected from lawyers and I was proven correct sadly.

I have been represented by Paul Ireland for the last few years now and I can honestly say after trying a handfull off solicitors over the last few years paul is by far the best in the business by a country mile! , what Paul and his staff have done for me and my family over the years and currently is nothing short of amazing I would highly recommend to anybody out there, thanks very much to Paul and his team for all there help..Neil..

AVOID.. Shocking service.Just wants your moneyI knew what I needed from Paul Ireland for him to tell me what I was asking for would not be enough. Going on to tell me what I actually needed to do then plucked a number of £3000+ out of thin air. When all I wanted was a legal document.
