One of the best fish and chips I’ve ever had and can’t wait to come back. Staff are all so friendly and accommodating, prices are good and food was delicious, hot and fresh with fantastic quality and quick service. Thank you very much!

Well priced and decent sized portions.The special potatoes are fit (not on the menu randomly but you can see them inside)The kebabs tasted clean and tasty.Decent selection of salad and sauces the bab.

This place is amazing! I used to go to the other chippy (codfather) because it’s closer to mine and I don’t drive. But the extra walk is 100% worth it!The portion size are amazing and not crazy greasy… here is a photo of a large cod, honestly next time I’ll get a medium!

We called in as we were passing. We received a warm welcome. We had cod and spicy potatoes. Wasn’t too greasy large portion and delicious especially the potatoes.

Very long opening hours makes this takeaway really convenient. Clean compared to many similar places. ThiS time tho my large cod was more like a regular piece of fish tho freshly cooked and tasted fine. The chips were unpalatable - chewy and hard work. Shame as I have visited a fair bit over the years for lunch.

Went there for fish and chips. Pleasantly surprised by their friendly customer service.Very delicious doner, spicy potatoes and battered cod fish.The place is also bright and clean.There’s temporary off street parking while you wait for your food order.

Love, love, love the food !!!! We have used this place a few times and each time our meal has been great!!!! Big portions, so well worth the money. The staff in the shop are so friendly, on our last visit they offered my daughter a free taster of spicy potatoes. The only issue for me is it's cash only, and most places nowadays take card payments. I don't always carry cash, so has to be a planned visit so I'm prepared. That doesn't put me off though- cashpoint close by.

Quantity more than quality. Fish was huge but tasted bland. Large portion of chips, but the ones we had with our fish were cold. They only take cash, but there’s a cash machine nearby.

Fish and chips will cost about £10-12 and portions are big. It's a proper chipshop, don't be put off by the counter filled with green stuff, that's to pad out kebabs that they also sell. Fish was decent and chips very well cooked, they also do scraps. Staff were friendly/helpful. Cash only but free cash machine less than 1 minute walk away.

Friendly service and piping hot chips that I didn’t have to wait for to be cooked (unlike the other chippy round the corner, virtually every time you go in… ) Bought a half portion which was more than enough for my large appetite and they were tasty. I’m now a convert!!!
