At a cost of £270 for a consultation lasting 30 minutes, I was advised I had a wart which had already been confirmed by my pharmacist and had treatments explained which information is comprehensively available on the internet. Freezing and surgery options come to in the region of £1000 including the expensive consultation. At £270, this was not in my view a cost effective consultation which could have been rendered by my NHS GP for free or a private GP for less than £100.

I rarely review but feel compelled to do so after spending so many years suffering with skin conditions.I visited Anjali this year and have spent the last 6 months since my visit with confidence. I have been given some treatment to use and the ability to find sunscreen that hasn’t caused me to break out, while also using my prescription along side it. My skin became so bad last summer that I found myself avoiding going out to places while abroad.I would recommend to anyone to see Anjali. I believe her support has given me my confidence back after almost a lifetime of suffering embarrassment, I can’t thank her enough for her knowledge and treatment/s and I would not hesitate to return when and if ever I needed to in the future.

From my first call Monday morning I was able to secure an appointment with Dr Bashir within 1.5 hours, which was remarkable especially to help ease my concerns. Even better, he managed to secure a same day slot to remove a questionable lesion, so I really couldn’t have received a better service. Very impressed.

The greatest world class Clinic. Outstanding, professional skin healing treatment. Very friendly staff who care about patients and create very nice atmosphere. I was always leaving this place in a very good mood and positive thoughts. Appointments were booked in convenient time for me even when that was short time notification. My skin is looking healthy after UVB treatment against psoriasis. It works !

Dr Mahto was not only knowledgable and thorough, but kind and compassionate in treating my skin issues.I’ve had some mix ups with reception getting a booking wrong and wasting my time, but was contacted by Dr Mahto to personally apologise.

As a extremely nervous patient. I highly recommend Skin 55. Right from speaking with Sue from the outset, to Dr Sonal Shankar who was empathetic, understanding and put me at complete ease. I also want to extend my thanks to nurse Nicky during my procedure, she is an absolute credit to the team - a heart felt thank you. Would definitely use again in the future.

Dr. Bashir is truly excellent! He has great listening skills, deep empathy and is an outstanding dermatologist. He changed my life thanks to a complex treatment that not many practioners do. He earns my highest recommendation.

I had surgery here, the Dr was lovely.However, I did find it unprofessional that I was not given at least a nurses number on a card, to call with questions about aftercare. Instead you have to email Reception with questions, which I was unaware of at the time.
