Free, but very small. We timed it just right and managed to get a space. Beautiful walk starting immediately from the car park. Very quiet, so definitely worth a visit.

Nice little car park. Charges payable in cash only (no mobile signal or phone lines for card readers). Access roads a bit narrow. Loweswater itself is wonderful - especially the Holme Wood shore path. But make a detour off the main tourist path and find Holme Force waterfall.

It is a small car park. Maybe 7-10 cars. Near to the lake - some minutes walking distance. We arrived there late, so most of the walkers finished, so we had a parking space. But i am sure that in summertime no place there, or earlier. We were there Sunday about 1pm.

This is a tricky one to rate. The walk around Loweswater was highly enjoyable, partly because it was quiet. However, this may have been due to the fact that there is only room to park 10 cars. The nearest alternative is 1Km away (not what you want before embarking on an 8k walk). Unfortunately, there is little the National Trust can do about this. It is what it is.

A few areas where you can park roadside and admire the view, reflections and peace.

Loverly place, nice and quiet and tranquil. Good for walks and easy cycling. Car park not that big, but was empty for us

Just off the route 71Narrow lane, only 1 car possible although a couple of passing places, about a 5 minutes drive to car park good sized area for about 15 cars, hard standing, free(honesty box on wall) but no amenities, paths lead to Loweswater and fells.

Nicely positioned but tiny. It's free which is nice. If the car park is full there are two or three big pull in car parks further down the lake.

Not surfaced and can be muddy or dusty depending on the weather. Only about a dozen cars can fit in so come early. Holme Wood is accessed by walking along a level unsurfaced road. It is a beautiful wood
