Royal Mile
It has so many shops and street performers! If you see Batman Flash G" what a great magician! He made our whole day. Beautiful architecture lines the streets and at the top you can see the castle. Don't forget to stop in the pubs along the way."

Royal Mile
Long road leading up to Edinburgh Castle. Always busy, lovely shops, particularly if you want souvenirs or whisky. If you're not fit or have trouble walking, I'd suggest going g downhill and not up or better still, take a break in one of the many pubs/ bars.

It was a fun walk up the Royal Mile to the Castle grounds, plenty happening and bagpipers to listen to!There’s so many little alleyways to explore and shops to mooch around it was a relaxing hour. There’s also plenty of bars, cafes and restaurants looking to keep you full of energy. Then you have the castle at the end waiting to show you it’s secrets

Wear comfy shoes! Lots of great architecture and things to stop and look at. The little side passages are worth exploring and make for a great photo opportunity. Nice choice of coffee and snack stops along the way and worth doing from Holyrood to the castle.

Royal Mile
Historic area with lots of hills and history. There are lots of tourist shops on the Mile, so you can find something for everyone on your list. It can get quite crowded, so keep an eye on your wallet. It's worth checking out. Just remember when you're walking, what goes down must come up.

Royal Mile
The beating heart of the old town, the main street is a captivating spectacle, a vibrant tapestry of sights and sounds that beckons you to take a leisurely stroll. The air is alive with the melodies of traditional music, and the avenue is your gateway to a shopping paradise where intriguing architecture weaves its story with every step.

Royal Mile
Royal Mile is definitely a must do while in Edinburgh. It’s crowded as most tourist attractions so try early a.m. if you’re an introvert. A nice walk to feel the history of a nation and what’s left of it in those roads, buildings and, ruins
