Tonight live at the City Halls is the coolest man on the planet John Cooper Clark. Supported by one of my favourite Mancunians and modern day Poet's Mike Garry.Their poetry is what should be taught in school nowadays, resonates more to me than Shakespeare ever did!Great venue old style building, we were seated on the balcony excellent view, clear audio.

Splendid venue. The wooden ceiling and balconies alone are worth the admission price. Acoustics are great, which is so important at a gig.

Beautiful venue, staff were really helpful with questions I had. This was my first solo concert since 2020, great atmosphere. Nice bar staff too!

It's a great venue nice friendly and helpful staff only downside was the bar closed when concert started but i think that was the promoter not the venue

Beautiful venue but waiting in line for over half an hour to get a drink from the bar before the concert. There seemed to be an issue with the card machine, which was fair enough but bar staff seemed to be standing around talking about it rather than serving the queue using the other card machines that were working. Later on in the night I tried to get a glass of water from the bar and was rudely shouted at that the bar was closed. Never leave a bad review but a functioning bar is quite important in a hot concert venue.

Beautiful venue and no complaints regarding the sound or the band we seen, however we actually left before the band finished because we couldn't get a drink. We waited in different bar queues throughout the night and still never got to the bar. The queues just didn't seem to move. My husband tried again and disappeared for about 20 minutes only to return without a drink. We weren't there to get drunk, but even one drink would have made the experience much more enjoyable and stopped us getting dehydrated.

An incredible venue, steeped in history. Great sound for a gig and it’s cosy enough to feel quite intimate. Drinks are decently priced. The lighting is beautiful - it’d be an amazing venue for a wedding.Went to see The Twilight Sad stripped back and it was incredible. Would love to come back.Bit of a challenge getting in and out because there’s only a small door in one corner but it didn’t detract.

I visited here last sat , sadly it was just a room that held around 100 people , but what a night I was watching ibrina , a great Jamaican singer who stays in Scotland .Honestly after 90 Min listening to her and listening to her stories of Jamaica , I was ready to book a flight to the Caribbean , the following day lolGreat singer and what a lovely woman
