I've been obsessed with borek for a while, and to find somewhere in Leith that has such a great selection is amazing! There aren't really enough bakeries in the area that sell savoury stuff either, so this is a great find. I bought four different varieties, and they were all absolutely delicious.Considering how much weight I'm about to pile on now I've found this place, I should really be giving them one star, but for the quality of their food, they definitely deserve top marks!

Dropped in to Kukina for a light lunch with my daughter. Had a vegan and a meat Gozleme served with side pickles.. Nice tasty food served very pleasant staff.. and plenty of choice of sweet and savoury items.. We've been before and well visit again.. recommended if you're on Leith Walk

Loved the potato and feta boreks, hummus and garlic dips and the hot chocolate. Highly recommend to eat in. The attention to each customer is top notch.

Kukina is an absolute gem of a Turkish bakery that I often stop by for a quick bite to eat. Whenever I'm there, I can't resist indulging in their delicious boiled borek, which always hits the spot. But, if you're looking for something a little different, you have to try their Tahini borek, which is an absolute taste sensation. In fact, I'm convinced that everything on their menu is a culinary masterpiece.

Lovely and cozy bakery with authentic turkish pastries. We had beef borek and vanilla custard cream pastry with turkish coffee. Everything was delicious and lady at the counter was very sweet and welcoming. Definitely worth visiting again!

Exceptionally great hidden gem. The food is so amazing . Can't tell you how often you walk in to a cafe and the food looks great but doesn't tase good... but please believe me the food tastes divine and authentic and the service is super awsome. We had baklava and some spinach feta Greek pastries which were so amazing. The best chai late I ever had. Awsome place and amazing vibe.

Very cosy cafe with delicious food raging from sweet and savoury pastries.Being nicely greeted and treated well by the lovely young lady at the counter makes the whole experience even better !I had spinach and cheese gözleme and Turkish coffee which tasted really good.

Lovely atmosphere and decor, comfy seating, and outdoor tables as well. The food is delicious and freshly prepared, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. A must-try on Leith Walk!

Such a fantastic little Cafe with the most delicious food and coffee. The service is beyond friendly and charming. Try one of the Gozlemes, they are made fresh to order and are the perfect size/price.
