We enjoyed our stay at the Highland Club. There was plenty to do and the apartments are close to town. I definitely appreciated the hamper and goodies, which we all snacked on during our stay. The only drawbacks we found during our 4 nights were: the amount of noise (more than the majority of hotels I’ve stayed in) and the beds were extremely bouncy (cheap feeling), which was surprising. We were fortunate that the other guests around us settled down by 11pm, but if you’re a light sleeper just be aware that each bedroom/kitchen/living room/front door that closes will definitely be heard. Everything considered, it was a really cool experience to stay here and walk the grounds! Huge shout out to their amazing cleaning staff. I’m quite picky about that and the apartment was incredibly clean!

I stayed at this place mid doing the Great Glen Way home. My initial idea was to not stay there and just carry on but because of a poor choice in footwear and my family already having a apartment there I thought why not. I was a lovely place to spend a night in lots of different activities to do all around the building from playing chess in the courtyard to skipping rocks onto the lake. There was lots of rabbit and squirrels also to look at as they ran through the grass. Then when it came to getting food it was just a short walk from the town where there were many options for things to eat and also shops to restock my snacks for the rest of the Great Glen Way.

Wonderful accommodation and location. Peaceful, serene, modern inside, enchanting outside. We booked Abbey Church 09 as we needed ground floor accommodation. The staff were very helpful and hospitable. The welcome basket was above and beyond our expectations.Such a nice gesture. It's a perfect location on the loch and near the locks. The town of Ft. Augustus was right outside the gate. I highly recommend staying at the Highland Club. We stayed 3 nights. My only regret was we didn't stay there longer!

We had an outstanding summer holiday at The Highland Club. The accommodations met all our needs, setting the stage for a relaxing experience. Our highlight was the breathtaking views of Loch Ness, best enjoyed over morning coffee. The proximity to accessible hiking trails added an adventurous touch to our stay. The Highland Club successfully combined comfort, natural beauty, and outdoor activities, making our holiday both fun and rejuvenating.

It was our first time visiting the highland club & it definitely won’t be our last. The staff were very friendly & were always happy to help. There was a coffee machine onsite & free for guests which was a lovely addition meaning we didn’t have to walk into town to find a nice cup of coffee. The property itself is very beautiful & in a really good location as the local shops/pubs are within walking distance. There is so much to do & it’s lovely being so close to nature with ducks & rabbits on the grounds. We stayed in Abbey Church 16 with our two children & couldn’t believe how big the apartment was. When we arrived, there was a book & teddy bear waiting for both of our children & there was even some child farm body wash in the bathroom which I thought was a lovely touch. The welcome hamper was a lovely gesture & I was amazed by how well equipped the kitchen was. We had dinner at the boathouse & really enjoyed our meal there so highly recommend booking when you arrive (it can get busy).I would highly recommend the Highland Club & will definitely be returning for another visit next year.

I spent 3 days up at the The Highland Club where I caught up with my college mates. It was a great venue to meet, where we used the facilities (swimming pool) as well as going to the Boathouse restaurant.I booked myself into Abbey Church 17. The room was spotless, warm and the welcome hamper was a real treat. I must congratulate the owners on their attention to detail regarding the kitchen condiments, the bathroom toiletries as well as the dressing gowns and slippers. It was home from home with a cosy atmosphere.I will be back next year and bring my wife and son so that we can use the virtual games room, as well as the tennis courts with the Slinger tennis ball machine.

If you are looking for a peaceful and lake side location at Loch Ness, this would be my recommendation. There are no lifts so be careful when you book your apartments. I stayed on the first floor or brother's wing and it was right next to the lake.Highly recommended.

I stayed for a week at the Highland Club and had an excellent time. The accommodation is first class, staff are very helpful and friendly and there is plenty to do on site to keep yourself occupied. The views and surrounding landscapes are breathtaking. Shops are 5 mins walk away so it's very convenient. I would definitely visit again and would recommend it to others wanting a relaxing break.

A unique and beautiful place on the shores of Loch Ness. The apartment was spacious, comfortable and has a well equipped kitchen. A welcome pack of goodies and wine was much appreciated on arrival!We love exploring the beautiful highland walks and the occasional cold dip in the Loch. We have stayed here many times and will return again soon.

Stayed the week in this lovely old abbey. Our apartment was the 14 Raven Wing, and it offered a view on the great front lawn. It was spotless and had everything my daughter and I needed: we were very comfortable.There is just so much to see and do around the property: walking inside this old abbey, outside directly to the lake, the swimming pool, the tennis court, and other amenities… Not to mention the walking access to downtown Fort Augustus or to trails going up into the hills overlooking the Loch Ness.We hope to be back soon to discover the rest of this beautiful town and surrounding area.
