A great pub friendly staff and customers. Had a fantastic night dancing to the brilliant DJ last night. Only here for the weekend but we feel like it's our new local.

Its a boozer that serves good food and is dog friendly. We popped in for a quick bit of dinner on the way home from town, we sat in the bar area while the rugby was on, the staff were friendly and the food was really really tasty and great portions.

What a difference a bar person makes to a pub.During thesechallenging"times its difficult to give a place good reviews when half the staff are trying there best to follow the current guidelines on track and trace and sanitizing tables(ect)when the rest simply see it as a chore.I like this pub and have done for a long time

No food just drinks but this is a small corner bar to sit in the afternoon and watch sports with everyone. It hosts trivia nights and opens until pretty late everyday.

Great local pub. Regulars are talkative. Bar tenders (one at a time!) keep up with the throngs of customers...AND...they were super nice sharing local details and tidbits to this American tourist. Thanks for the tip on going to York Racecourse for MacMillan day (and saying hi at the Clockhouse field!).

Visited 6/23 with a group of friends whilst on holiday. A proper pub with a good range of beers. We were there on the evening of the Champions League final and there was a great atmosphere. Returned the following night too!Can't comment on food - don't even know if they do it!
