Great range of yarns and helpful, knowledgeable staff. I've bought both online and in person here. Love this store! Just rung up to check a dyelot, the yarns been put aside awaiting my online order and they will ship straight away.Thanks Wool on the Exe.

Wonderful selection from local suppliers and plenty of fun workshops and classes. Debbie is very knowledgeable and helpful for a beginner like me and she makes you feel right at home. I look forward to the always new and exciting products and workshops arriving in store.

Wow! What a fantastic shop. Friendly and knowledgeable staff, and an amazing range yarns. I very happily walked away with absolutely everything I needed, from luxurious hand dyed skeins to some really scrumptious non-wool yarns. There was also a truly lovely atmosphere in the shop and some fantastic services and events available. Absolute wool heaven!

I love this shop. The team here are so wonderful. I came in a few years ago, having only ever made a simple scarf and they very patiently taught me how to knit, helped me with my knitting mistakes, played with my toddler whilst I chatted and knitted and just generally made my son and I feel really at home. A few years later, my 4 year old son asks to go in to say hi to Debbie as we pass by as he has such fond memories. It’s more than a shop, it’s a warm welcome and a little community. Plus they sell really beautiful yarn ;)
