We had dinner here. The food was good and freshly prepared and good value. Staff were friendly and helpful. Toilets were clean. The only downside was a shortage of onsite parking, though it was easy to park on the road outside.We didn't stay, so I can't rate the rooms.

Out performs nearby Premier Inn for comfort and service. Price included cooked to order breakfast. Menu for evening meal had good choices. Totally lovely

Been here for breakfast four times. However today the standard of food was slightly down with a increase in cost. We had to ask for the toast to be put on a side plate as it was just dumped on the breakfast. Also had to ask for butter and sauces. The young lady that served us was very polite but lacked total experience.Will think twice before going back. Two breakfast with two drinks £25. Such a shame as always had fab breakfasts

Popped in on the off chance, staff very friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately that’s where the good finished.Food poor. Really poor.Maybe an ideal place to take your in-laws, if you don’t like them.

I really like this pub its warm , cosy and quite friendly atmosphere. However came here the other night for food and what I ordered was not exactly what I received , for the price it was tiny ! Me & partner both questioned this to the waiter as we were not happy , they offered us an extra portion but mentioned it would only be this one off time , which I said that be great but I just won’t order it again . I understand costs have gone up but you can’t charge £15 for 3 chunks of chicken with few onions and Ton of chips ! I know it don’t cost that much . Anyhow apart from that the food was good and service good , just a shame the portions have shrunk .

Popped in for dinner. Husband had the burger. It was so small for the price, you could barely find it and it was overcooked. When you spend that much on burger and chips you really do expect a decent size burger. Sadly won’t be re visiting. Disappointed as had breakfast there a few weeks back and it was good.It took a long time for the food to come, which is ok as you know it’s generally cooked fresh.Sadly it all seems to be run by youngsters who have no idea how to serve people. Better training should be given. Very disappointing.

Great welcome, staff friendly. Superb home cooked food. Just sorry I don't live locally to frequent more often. But may book one of the gig nights and stay next time.....

Food standard has dropped, ordered items and what comes with the food was not on the plate and then spoken to in a negative way when I questioned why it clearly says on the menu what you get and yet that's not what you get on the plate. I do not take my family out to be made to feel awkward or to order off a menu and not get what is clearly listed....Food was nowhere as good as it had been when we came over 8 months ago.Shall not be returning.....
