New local shop so wanted to try! Cakes were absolutely gorgeous, so light and fluffy and the cream tasted so fresh! I recommend for every occasion ❤️

Great taste at reasonable prices. Jasmin was friendly and helpful. I like that they offer printing images on their cakes, for extra cost though.

Ordered a cake in store, specifically telling the man who took our order to be chocolate base otherwise, my son would not evan taste his bday cake. When we've cut the cake, we discovered to have a victoria base instead of chocolate. I went back to the store to get explanations, and the man tried to suggest it was my fault that I hadn't checked better when he wrote down my order and offered no apology for the situation. The cake looked very nice and colourful and the fresh cream was delicious but l will not use them again to avoid further disappointment.

Absolutely beautiful cake, fresh and light! Best cake I've ever had! The staff are lovely and the shop is immaculate! Thanks again for a perfect cake for a big birthday, my mam loves Barry Manilow so the photo cake was great!

Oooh very excited to see Cake Box Gateshead on Durham Rd!Had to pop in and was very pleased I did. The cheesecake was amazing and second to none!… and believe me I’ve tried lots of different places that sell cake! But this will be my ‘go to’ shop now. Delicious!Btw the staff are lovely and can’t do enough for you! Thanks once again!

Cakes all look absolutely amazing and I'm impressed how a good textured sponge has been created without eggs. Taste-wise I thought I had covid again and lost my taste altogether. So bland it left me wondering if they're also sugar free. Shame, but I guess there's a market for people that eat with their eyes.
