David was very helpful with the removal of our stairlift, he and his colleague were done in 30 mins. The best part was , they removed it without causing any damage to the carpet on our stairs which was great. Would recommend 100%.

The team at Newbury Mobility were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about their products, and they were able to guide me through the entire process from start to finish.The installation of the stairlift was completed quickly and efficiently, and the team were very respectful of my home throughout the process. They took the time to ensure that the stairlift was installed exactly to my specifications, and they even gave me a demonstration of how to use it before they left.Overall, I was very impressed with the level of service I received from Newbury Mobility Ltd. I wish I’d read TrustPilot before I dealt with Newbury Mobility.I met with Newbury Mobility on 19th October 2022 and placed an order for a stair lift for my elderly parents aged 88 and 93, and I paid £1900 deposit.The installation date of 24th November 2022 got postponed by Newbury Mobility and before we could agree to a new one my mother died, unexpectedly, on 5th December 2022. I spoke to the sales person the following day and told him it was likely that my father would go into a care home in January 2023 and I would not need a lift. The sales person agreed that this was ok ‘as nothing had been made yet’. He confirmed he’d put the order on ‘Hold’ until January 2023 and if I cancelled then I would get my deposit back as ‘nothing had been made’.I phoned him back early January 2023 and cancelled the order, as my dad went into a home, and the sales person said I would get a full refund which he would arrange for me.I waited for weeks and heard nothing. I eventually starting phoning and left numerous messages with the receptionist(s) asking for someone to call me back. They never did.In the end I sent a recorded delivery letter demanding a full refund. Newbury Mobility dealt with that by sending me a recorded letter saying I wasn’t entitled to one due to their T&C’s, which I argued I had never seen nor were they sent to me by post, email or discussed verbally. Indeed, the sales person told me 3 times I was entitled to a refund. They never responded.I eventually raised a Visa Debit Card dispute through the bank who eventually settled the claim in my favour. This took about 10 weeks.I think they have changed their terms and conditions now but they were absolutely appalling to deal with during a period of immense stress for me.

Never use this company, paid for a new stair lift in September 2021 developed a fault after a few months. We were advised it had been fitted incorrectly by them. Then they never completed the repair despite repeated phone calls.We were then left with a stair lift that would not work at all. After my father in law passed away we were offered a joke reimbursement for the removal of the lift which was only just over 10% of the purchase price even though it was installed in correctly by them.There was no point in us having a 2 year warranty as they don’t even fix something after 3 months.Customer service is no existent as they don’t respond to phone calls and when you get through they never ring back as the person you need to speak to is not there.It’s shame you can’t give 0 stars for a company as I would never use these again if needed and would advise everybody else to not use them.

Excellent service from David from his initial visit to access which stairlift would be suitable for my mother right up to installation. Very efficient on day of installation, worked very quickly and left everywhere clean and tidy. Would highly recommend Newbury Mobility to anyone looking for a stairlift.

Having had poor service from the original supplier of our stairlift, we decided to find an alternative company to fix the remote controls on my Mum's stairlift. We contacted a number of suppliers and decided to go with Newbury Mobility, due to the combination of their reasonable call out charge and good customer service over the phone. The engineer, James, arrived when he said he would and couldn't have been more helpful. Not only did he fix and thoroughly test the remote controls, he also checked the track and cleaned the rollers at no extra charge. We will definitely use Newbury Mobility again and would recommend them wholeheartedly.

My Mums mobility scooter required repair and a couple of new batteries. Newbury Mobility quoted a good price to collect and establish the fault. The fault identified was repaired and included within this price which was not expected!From my perspective, we received great service and was kept up to date regularly with the progress, the price was appropriate for the work undertaken, the scooter now works and I have a happy Mum. .I would definitely recommend them as a firm and will make sure we use them again for any future needs.Thank you to everyone at Newbury Mobility
