Tried tea room today, what a disappointment, waited over 30 minutes for food, had to ask when it would arrive, had to ask for another pot of tea as the one I had went stone cold waiting. Only ordered cheese toasties, biggest rip off was ordered extra portion of chips £3.50 for about 6 chunky chips, YES £3.50 Nearly fell over.Sorry to say it but quality and service has gone down, only price's gone up.

Upon arrival there were several car parks leading off the entrance & we found a spot without any trouble. The cafe was fairly busy (we did arrive around 1pm), but we were seated quickly & the staff seemed very friendly.I might add the staff were all wearing masks & there was a very good covid policy on site. The food was reasonably priced & both our meals were good quality. My only gripe was the timing our food arrived. My partner ordered quiche & I had some cake. My cake arrived with the drinks (tea) & my partners arrived a good ten minutes later. I'm not concerned regarding the wait (as the cafe was quite busy), It's good practice to bring both meals together! The selection of plants was decent & I was quite tempted to buy a small tree fern.On the whole I'd definitely recommend a visit, remember the exit is a one way system when exiting the car park...

I ordered a sandwich, scone, tea and white coffee. The sandwich arrived first with no cutlery but there was some wooden cutlery nearby. I used that but it hacked the sandwich rather than cut it. At £7.95 you'd expect some nice bakery bread but no, it was a cheap bun from a factory baked pack of six from the local supermarket. 10 minutes later the scone and drinks arrived. To be fair my wife enjoyed the tea (£3.50 though, expensive for a teabag) and scone but for me the coffee wasn't great. It arrived black filled to the brim, no room to add milk for the white coffee I'd ordered. I drank some of the bitter coffee then had to use some of the little milk supplied for the tea. At least the cutlery arrived with the scone meant for the sandwich. They would be forgiven if they were busy, they weren't.

Lots of lovely plants, helpful staff. Went back again to get some great pots, plants and another wander round the garden. Definitely worth a return visit.

The cafe is clearly very popular and was full, however for a 'nursery' there was a disappointing lack of variety. Worse when attempting to ask one of the staff a question he responded by wagging his finger and gesturing towards a colleague. Perhaps he was mute but I suspect that he was just rude and unhelpful!

I love this place. Plants are very reasonably priced and multi buys make them even cheaper. Sometimes the plants look a bit worse for wear but this is reflected in the price. I have planted up my full garden over 3 years, with shrubs, grasses and border plants, and have achieved a fabulous result. I bought daffs in spring 2016 (very cheap) as they were about finished and they come back every year. Lovely tea room which is well worth a visit.

Called today , never again way over priced for a less than stella meal. Pork and stuffing sandwich with no stuffing , £3.50 extra for the some total of 5 chips. £28 for coffee tea a toastie a 5 year old would do better , as hardly any cheese, pork sandwich on the smallest bun they could find. Go to Macdonalds at least then you know what you get. Simply terrible
