Took Mum in Law to buy a recliner sofa. Really good service in the shop and the delivery crew could not have been more helpful (wonderful in her words). It was an awkward angle to get it through the front door but they removed and refitted both sitting and dining room doors to do it. She's delighted with the sofa and the tip top service.

Just wanted to say, we purchased a second hand wardrobe from Southcoast Living. It is excellent. They delivered it at a time that was convenient to us. The men who assembled it were professional, curious and clean. Wonderful product, wonderful value and wonderful service.

Great price for a dishwasher, and they very kindly recycled the old one and fitted the new one the next working day.

Very helpful people, I bought a used recliner for my sister, a very fair price and she is happy with it. They delivered it and took the old chair away. All in all a great deal.

Avoid them - Faulty goods, faulty service.My fiancée and I went into Southcoast living on the 8th Jan to see what tumble dryers they had. A woman came up to us and showed us around and eventually we saw one we liked - and Indesit condenser for £149 with 3 months warranty. We purchased and took it home.When we got home we found it didn't work. It tumbled but didn't dry (wouldn't heat up). We tried various times to get it working, turning the dial and pressing the one other button it had on it. Eventually we gave up and decided we would take it back for a refund. Due to my fiancée and my work schedules we couldn't take it back until two weeks later.On the 21st Jan we called up and said we'd like to bring it back for a refund. The gentleman we spoke to said we would only get a credit note as we had paid in card which seemed very odd. But we didn't want to argue down the phone so we went back to the store. We were greeted by the same woman who had sold it to us and my were we amazed at how poor her customer service was.First thing she said to us why didn't you call us sooner?"

Impressive, friendly & helpful staff. Went in looking for various pieces, ended up completely furnishing my new flat. Easy to look round, everything is well maintained & clean lots of good stuff & some serious bargains, they certainly put themselves out to help. Bought everything yesterday & delivered (with care) today. Very pleased with my purchases ,alot of shops could learn afew things from them. Excellent.

Thank you so much Southcoast Living ... you have returned my faulty washing machine back having fixed it when I thought it would just need to be got rid of. This NHS key worker is so grateful to not have to go to the launderette again for a while ♥

Avoid! My partner and I were just sold a heater by Southcoast Living which it turns out had faulty wiring, was dangerous and hadn't been tested before it was sold to us. It was also broken in two places. When returning it, the grumpy old man who I assume is the manager just made sarcastic comments. Utterly appalled by the whole experience. Someone could actually be killed by their negligence if one of their untested, faulty products causes a shock or fire. Avoid this shop like the plague!

I am extremely pleased with my washing machine. After 20 yrs my old Miele needed replacing. I remembered seeing reconditioned ones in Southcoast Living at a fraction of the cost of a new one. The one I chose was delivered the following day, the old one disconnected and taken away and the new one connected by the delivery guys.An Excellent Service and the machine is as good as new.
