We had new doors and windows bought and fitted by Advance Joinery. The whole experience from customer service to the actual fitting by (Paul and Sean was excellent. They were fitted extremely quickly and the fitters worked some days in atrocious conditions....We would thoroughly recommend Advance Joinery.

Wish I had found this shop before. Good prices and lovely staff who are friendly and helpful.

Unfortunately I cannot recommend Advance Plastic Windows services.The quality of windows is fine (so far no issues) however the installation is just horrible.Firstly, I was promised to get windows installed end of November last year but once paid the deposit, the installation date changed to January. Next the surveyor put wrong measurements of 2 french doors and blamed my builder, despite my emails informing that the floor levels in the house will not change (completely ignored). Once he set up a meeting with the builder and never appeared. Builder’s time is not free as he finished the works at my home and had to travel from other location. As I had all emails, they agreed to waive the cost of extra manufacturing off.Windows were installed (not French doors as these had to manufactured again that took almost a month, which costed additional fuel for heating) but some restrictions and vents were missing, installers didn’t have enough sealants, panels were broken and other panels mixed up. On top of other minor faults.Finally, once doors were installed, I sent an email with photos to make sure all finishing works will be done end February. Some minor works were done, but vents, seals and restrictions were still missing.There was another visit a month later -installer came with wrong restrictions. No silicon as well.Finally they tried to contact me in July, when I was on holiday abroad so I didn’t respond or was at home, so I was sent a rude email that contact with me is difficult and if I don’t respond, they will assume all the works are completed.Probably someone realised that their books are not balanced.At the end they managed to complete the works in August, 10 months past original date.I made a trip to their office to make a payment, the card machine was broken or something (I don’t care) so I could not pay. Two days later I am sent threatening letter with a collection notice of overdue payment.I was refused any discount for all my trouble, lost time, and money when I had to be at home to facilitate - after all my time is cheap! Right?1 star for windows quality but the overall experience is appalling. You can get the same quality windows for similar price elsewhere, especially if you have a larger set of windows to be done. Not worth it!

Firstly my name is Mrs Johnston not Mr ...my windows are lovely but when they were first fitted I noticed and had to point out to the fitters that on 1 of the 3 windows they'd done had the wrong glass in them i asked them to look at all 3 windows and tell me if they could see any difference of which they couldn't they had fitted 3 windows and all 3 were supposed to be the same yet 1 was clearly different! when i pointed it out they said ooh yeah unfortunately like when i had my patio door installed there was a serious lack of communication between me and Advance I first Spoke with Andy but then found out Andy had left therefore i had been left waiting and waiting.....the glass was changed by the kingsbridge branch after Christmas but I'm not sure if i'll be in any hurry to have any more work done"

We are delighted with the installation of our new doors! The team was very professional - highly recommended.

Absolutely brilliant firm to deal with from reception to staff coming to double check measurements to the fitters fitting the product to dealing with the payments highly recommend and excellent prices they won't be beaten

Excellent supply and fit service from Advance. Quality product, expert advice and nothing too much trouble. The process for our complete house re-fit was trouble-free from start to finish with every stage completed within the timescale given. Skilful and personable fitters were considerate and polite throughout the installation period and completed the work with great expertise. Back-up and follow-up support from the office staff was also exemplary. Excellent value for money and I would not hesitate to recommend Advance Hereford (via Advanced Building Plastics) to friends, family and anyone considering upgrading their windows and doors.

Had french doors fitted, great fitters had a small issue a couple of days later ,contacted Advance and within a couple of hours a fitter was sent around to rectify Fantastic service from this company.
