Car was recalled. Had to wait about an hour. Found staff friendly and offered drinks etc. Place was clean and tidy. Have brought items from parts before. Not that much more expensive. And probably better quality. Example oil filter cost me 10 pounds. Vauxhall charged me 11 pounds.

We decided to purchase from YW&R on the basis that they are an approved dealer and we had faith in this. Paul was a very attentive salesperson and we appreciated his communication with us.Unfortunately however, when it comes to the business as a whole, appearances can be extremely deceiving. We spent weeks in liaison with YW&R in relation to a used car. As a distant enquiry, we requested thorough photos and videos of the vehicle and any information regarding damage to the vehicle.We eventually decided to proceed with the purchase and collected the vehicle less than two weeks ago. We were assured that the vehicle had a 12 month SpotiCar warranty (requiring thorough approved technician checks) and we purchased the additional extended warranty.Within 2 days, my Husband got stuck in the car and we noticed some misalignment with the drivers side door; something that we believe should have been picked up by the supposed technician check. On discussion with our local main dealer, we were immediately told that it appeared the vehicle had sustained side impact, and had been subject to a subpar repair to the drivers side of the car. Not only had the door not been replaced, but the paint finish would also void the manufacturers anti corrosion warranty.We relayed all of this to YW&R with a quotation for rectifying this. We were advised the vehicle would have to be returned as the cost of the works were not economical.We are now being left with one vehicle, and will be unable to attend work meetings until we source an alternative car. Or, if we were to attend work meetings, we cannot collect our child from nursery. Neither of which are ideal situations.We feel that YW&R have failed to meet their obligation for the SpotiCar warranty (checking bodywork sufficiently) and it seems they may have breached the Motor Ombudsman Code of Practice which required they check for historic damage, and for any alignment issues. We requested they source or pay for a hire car for a short period and they have refused.We would not recommend YW&R at all. The true sign of a good business is how they react in the face of something going wrong. In this instance, we would have no argument that YW&R have accepted the vehicle back in line with Consumer Rights Act, as well as refunding us for the full tank of fuel we left in the vehicle. However what they have not done, is indemnify us for our losses and considerable inconvenience which have arisen as a direct result of their apparent process failures.Edit: We've now been refunded for the returned vehicle, in line with the Consumers Right Act.Having had a lengthy discussion with the CEO who asked that we considered removing this review and we spoke about the reasons that we feel disgruntled. Whilst he seemed to understand that we are in a disadvantaged position now (without our second vehicle) he appeared to take the stance that he wouldn't have expected his technicians to notice the misaligned door, and that our untrained eyes should have noticed instead. He also seemed to imply that we were expecting too much (to have a functioning and undamaged door) by stating that you did buy a vehicle that is six years old" and that YW&R were doing the "honourable" thing by accepting the vehicle back; in fact
