The gardens were absolutely beautiful from the formal garden at the top, with vegetable garden to the stroll down and around the lake which has Swans and Ducks on. Its not a really long walk took us about an hour and that was with taking photos of the Swans, Bridge and Folly. In the Autumn there is plenty of Pine Cones and Conkers for kids to collect, if you are lucky you may see a Squirrel or two collecting and feeding on conkers.

Beautiful little dell with magnolias, azaleas and honeysuckle. The house is like something from a fairy tale. Utterly recommended.

Lovely corner of the estate that you wouldn't know was there. Sun trap through a little doorway into a little dell. Wonderful estate cottage covered in ivy set in the middle.

A lovely secluded corner of the Nostell estate. The rhodies, wisteria and lilac were fading on our visit but they would have been spectacular a couple of weeks earlier. Looking forward to re-visiting in a different season.

Part of the Middle Lake walk on Nostell estate. Could do with adding more statues to this area and perhaps a fountain in the centre of Middle Lake to make the area truly worthwhile.
