Easy access parking wise in town. Lots of tech, DVDs and games to choose from. As a seller the trade in price was good although the price for cash was very low considering the price they then go on to sell it for. Staff were friendly enough. Enough staff to deal with customers

Took back a faulty controller that was faulty as soon as we got home. Refused to give me a full refund even though I said I had bought a new elite controller for my daughter and didn't want or need the controller just my money back ..insisted on sending it off to repair it ..stupid policy !!! You should be entitled to a refund if you have a receipt no matter what .won't be buying from here again

Always friendly and honest staff. If you don't like their offer then sell the item yourself but they have to make a profit too so don't moan if its less than you expect it to be. Large selection of products and if you can't find what you want then check online or wait to see if anything new comes in.

I used to love using CEX. This time, however, it was awful. The staff have such an air of superiority, one of them even refused to look at me while telling me something, which ended up being wrong anyway. Avoid this place at all costs, unless you don't like being treated well.

Went into the Northallerton branch of CEX yesterday and was served by a Scottish bloke who went out of his way to be helpful, patient and extremely professional. Returned a game today that wasn't working, he apologised and put it through their disc cleaner, it now works. He was again really helpful and kind. Only down side was my son got upset because he said the other assistant was rude and impatient.

Have to say I was surprised by this shop, first time I went in I was just looking to pass the time while waiting for the local garage to finish the car, ended up buying a PS2 and games.Two years guarantee is amazing!!!Majority of stuff is in good condition, no issues with the stuff I’ve bought and the prices are great.Always seems to be a busy place, yes some of the stuff does smell of cigarette smoke but after a quick clean it soon goes.

Clean and well lit. Not much in store in the means on Nintendo items but plenty in stock for other platforms
