Staff are nice. Music is rubbish, drinks are expensive. Full of children felt like an unders club. Nah honestly the worst. It was so dead too yikes. Also £7 for entry? Whit a joke. Clean the floors and don’t let roasters in if you’re changing that

Lovely venue with great accessibility. Staff actually care wether the disabled have a good time. Great stage views and no rushing you to leave. Crowd is near to the stage. Drinks are reasonable. Would happily recommend

I am deeply disappointed by the discriminatory policy enforced by Garage Club. As a solo traveler/tourist, I was denied entry based on their unjustified safety concerns aimed specifically at individuals traveling alone. This policy is not only discriminatory but also infringes upon the freedom of choice for individuals to explore a destination on their own terms.I find it disheartening that such a policy is in place, particularly in the city of Glasgow, which thrives on tourism. This approach is counterproductive for both the tourism industry and the city's reputation as a welcoming and inclusive destination. It sends a negative message to solo travelers and hinders the growth of tourism in the area.Having traveled extensively across continents, I have never encountered such a restrictive policy elsewhere. It is disappointing to witness such a clear disregard for the rights of solo travelers and the principles of equal treatment. This policy not only wasted my time and money but also ruined what could have been a memorable day in Glasgow.I strongly believe that the government should take notice of this issue. It is crucial for authorities to intervene and address this discriminatory practice, ensuring that all individuals, regardless of their travel companions, are treated fairly and equally. Such policies not only tarnish the reputation of businesses but also reflect poorly on the destination as a whole. In conclusion, my experience with Garage was marred by their discriminatory policy against solo travelers/tourists. It is a regrettable waste of time, money, and a missed opportunity to enjoy the city of Glasgow. I urge both the company and the government to reconsider this policy and embrace inclusivity, promoting a positive and welcoming environment for all travelers.

If you want to support prejudice then feel free to go here. I tried to go with a team I had been working with and they were ready to turn the group away because I am a little older than my team mates. It start with discriminating against age but that will spread to some other group they do not want. If you want to show them discrimination is bad you should not go there for the next month. Discrimination of any kind should be punished. These people were prepared to turn away a whole group because they had one older member of their party. The only way they will learn is by your actions. Go if you don’t care about prejudice then keep going. If you do then do not return.

Excellent venue; the security at the doors is quick and efficient - and if you have to call or email the venue to confirm bookings, they are immediately helpful. The staff will know where to point you if you need something like the bathroom or to find the box office or the coat room. Up the stairs is a small to medium sized event hall with options to book booths to sit in in advance. There is a bar at the back of the room and at the end of the event it hands out free cold water. The sound and lights and set up for the bands are great and quickly transitioned.Good venue - reccomend.

Place seemed pretty good, decent atmosphere for the gig and enjoyed most of it.What ruined the experience for me was when near the end of the night I'd tried to get a couple of closed cans of cola from the bar for the drive home (designated driver). The bar staff proceeded to bring out two plastic cups and I repeatedly said I want them sealed. They proceeded to open the cans and pour them into the cups and put them on the bar. I told them I didn't want them and turned away.Afterwards one of the other gig goers tapped me on the shoulder and pointed towards the bar, a staff member was telling me to pay for the drinks. I told them I'd wanted them sealed, that I didn't have any use for them while opened. The staff member said that they had to open them and that they were deemed dangerous weapons". I told them I didn't want the drinks

While I’ve visited this as a club in my now distant youth, I’m writing this review based on a live music venue. It’s a decent sized venue, not too big and not too small. Has a number of bars and fairly quick service.Has a cloakroom available if required. Cost of drinks are what you’d expect in a city club. So not cheap.Queues outside can be a pain as last few times haven’t opened door at advertised times, and typical of Scotland it’s been raining.Toilets are very small for the capacity and can be difficult like any standing gig to get to.

We went to the One Night In Nashville event on 7th October - Fantastic night with great music and the staff were superb from the moment we arrived. Everyone of them were smiling and attentive and it really made for a really positive friendly atmosphere. Fab venue and great sound. Brilliant night!
