Had this company once to do a job. Very pleased. Rang them last week and arranged for them to come between 10 & 12 to look at a leak in loft. Didn't turn up! Husband rang and was informed engineer off sick. Sent someone else - here 10 mins, went to get part from Screwfix 6 minsaway and came back 40 mins later after my husband rang main office to see where he was. Told them not to bother with job. He came back and tried to charge us £60!!! Wouldn't recommend.

I arranged an appointment for a boiler quote - there was no email confirmation so I called the day before and they confirmed the appointment for between 8am-12pm. I booked time off and waited...and waited. No call from them so I chased twice only to be told (at 11.50am) that the engineer would be with me between 1pm-2pm. At 1.30pm he called to say it would be 3.00pm-4.00pm. At which point I cancelled. I believe in first impressions last. I would say this outfit is unreliable.

Had a bath replaced. The work is needing to be redone a year later because sealant and panels have fallen away. This began shortly after installation but despite several calls to the company they would not come out to repair. The work was well below standard and once paid the company were not interested in addressing issues.

Nice guy who came to the house but compared to other quotes that I received, very expensive. If you don't want the job, just say!! At times like this, I wish I had more money so I could call your (and other similar companies) bluff.

Asterisk booked me in a boiler service for a very reasonable price and showed up within a few days. Engineer was sound, came with proper PPE, talked me through everything, gave me some helpful advice. Highly recommended.

Had a leak from the bathroom radiator pipe. The plumber who came was kind and courteous! He cleared up after he made a hole in my ceiling to fix the leak, despite me offering to do it. I’d definitely use this company again! Price was very reasonable too!

Booked an appointment fir someone to come out a give me a quote for my bathroom and kitchen. Tried to book appointment at later time was told that they only do appointments between 8am -9am. I called at 8.15 as no one had come was told that they would now come between 8am -9am. Called again after 9am as no one came....if they cannot be bothered to come for initial appointment that shows level of professionalism. At least I know who they are and what kind of service I would of gotten from them. I'll take my hard earned money elsewhere. Total waste of my time.

This company was sub contracted to undertake a new bathroom installation at my property in 2016. Within the 4 years there has been a leak that damage the wall behind the shower wall, they should have placed an aqua board to protect the wall but was not applied. Also the bonding of tiles was not properly applied and tiles became loose eventually became weak. The tiled flooring cracked and need to be replaced again bonding was not correct and the correct grouting was not used. The old bathroom was completely stripped and a new bathroom fitted recently in Oct 2020. Unacceptable amount stress when they claim to be professional company, neither compensation has been given. A company of this sort should not be operating. Poor standards Evidence has been collected by B&Q to evidence the craftsmanship.

Excellent service from this company. They have fixed a number of plumbing issues for us over the last couple of years. They are reliable and professional and reasonably priced. I note some negative reviews but I can only praise them for their excellent service and will definitely use them again in the future.

Boiler repair - been chasing them up for over a month to return and properly fix, keep getting fobbed off, have no idea how they secured any contracts with MPA, policy expert, etc. Utter cowboys and terrible service!
