The Boat House, Rothiemurchus

Family get together beautiful house and grounds all the mod cons that could ever want and need. I would definitely recommend.The Boat House.

We had a fantastic family holiday staying at The Boat House. The house itself is just beautiful, so well equipped and maintained to such a high standard. Lots of attention to detail and a personal welcome. Our hosts were in touch in advance of our stay to ask if we had any specific requirements for our 2 year old daughter. The array of amenities provided for her was spectacular. She particular enjoyed the selection of books and playing with the lovely dolls in their cot and we were at ease with stair gates, high chairs and crockery for her. The location of the house is stunning, very private, yet so close to all local amenities. Such a peaceful setting and we were very lucky to see 2 young deer running through the forest. A real luxury home away from home. Could not fault it in any way and we’ll most certainly be back.
